Starting Sativa & Indica dominant at same time - Harvest at same time?

I have a Papaya and a Casey Jones going. I started them the same day and they are pretty similar in growth, the papaya might be slightly chunkier at the moment if anything.

The room in which my tent is in will become my drying room. Because of this, I want to bring my temps down to 60 and my RH up to 60%, I want to whole plant dry for 10-14 days in these conditions, then trim and cure.

Now, sativas generally run longer than indicas. I would like to chop these at the same time. How do you recommend I go about this?

1. Chop them both at week 9? Possibly giving the Papaya a stonier high (which is fine with me), might be slightly early for the Casey Jones
2. Chop them as theyre ready, separately, a week or two apart (at weeks 8/9 and 10), keep the RH at 50% and temps near low 60's for that final week or two while I'm drying. The downside to this is that the CJ will be alive in lower than ideal temps and higher than ideal RH while the Papaya is drying in the same room. Once I make the second chop I can improve these conditions
3. Other solutions? What would y'all do? Try to sync them up to get a perfect dry?

Id chop when they are both ready.

More than likely the indica first. This makes trimming easier. 14 days is a long dry....u not curing?

My flowering room is not good temp/humidity for drying. That's my issue. And I don't really have extra space. ..Also, I am curing, after I hang dry.

I planned on changing my flowering room into a drying room with 60% RH and 60 degrees for a slow dry. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if one develops that much quicker than the other and take it from there.

whats your conditions like in that room that you hang them in?

if they finish at differnet times ill just change to 45-50% RH and 65F. Should be good for both drying and a flowering plant.

temps at 60 and rh at 60 and you want to dry your harvest in that???
isnt there something you can do to correct this, maybe save your crop from inevitable mold?

Drying in my grow room has been a bummer all the way around every time for me, I built a dedicated closet tent drying room, dehumidifier, ac, and digi heat. no issues ever. dries for a week or two, no cure, ......next
MI possession laws dont allow curing lol

Awesome. Great read.

Guess I was misinformed. I'll shoot for 45%-50% RH and 65-70degrees.
That will work perfectly for the growing plant in its last week or two of flowering, and the drying plant. I'll just make sure the drying plant gets no direct airflow and is kept in the dark. Just ordered a small tent and a carbon scrubber to create a 'drying tent' that I can keep blacked out.

Thanks!
