Stealth Wardrobe Cob Sip Scrog

Hey everyone, I hope your Day is going well. I trust your medicine is doing its job, and that you have plenty of Bud to get you thru..
Alright its time to start a new grow, I took the Spring and Summer off, so its time to get this going again,
This time around the selection of clones in Portland in so it is hit and miss,, may have something to do with the outdoor crops all coming in , so everyone is busy trimming and drying,
But I had these 3 Northern Lights Fem seeds laying around,, and if I dont Pop them them , they may get too old,, these 3 seeds are at least 21 months old,, I dont think thats too bad,, but hey its what I have..
the stealth grow cab is mostly the same this go around,, I have a new Cirulation fan from a garage sale up top, same 6" can fan for exhaust with a variac speed controller
down in the bottom i am going to try an Earthbox Sip,, it holds 2.5 gallons in the res and full bag off FFOF ,, to which I have added some horse compost and chicken compost from my back yard, I am also mixing in some happy frog dry nute,, and in flower I will ad some grow big organic to the res,,
For now I am using the 216 watt DIY cree cob light, its 4 cxa3070's driven at 50 watts each,
I plan on upgrading the light soon,, hopefully by the time flowering comes around
the grow cab is a wardrobe from a hotel that was remodeling,, light sealed it and installed a locker room style lock on the door,
got the room heated to 70 degrees ,, water n glass at 70 and dropped the 3 seeds,, here we go,,

test fitting the earthbox,, going to cut some plumbing parts to move the fill tube away from those power outlets,,, here is the testing pic

the scrog screen isnt in yet,, its built ,, i need to re string it,, but there is plenty of time,, I need to decide if I am going to do a true scrog,, or just use the screen as a cola guide like the last grow,, either way it keeps the colas from spilling out when I open the door,,

one seed has already sunk to the bottom ,, only 3 hours in

took the seed glass out for a few while I did some more test fits of the earthbox,, made a new fill tube that extends over to where the right hand wardrobe door opens,, so the fill tube is right in front center, and a bigger mouth to catch the water,, and purchased a 2 gallon watering can that has a spout,, works like a charm,,
have to keep the Wife happy,, no water spills on the bedroom carpet,, hahaha

All three seeds have sunk to the bottom in six hours

I was thinking about this,, and If all three crack,, then all three will go into the sip,, should shorten my veg time,,
I have a hard time killing plants,, lol

70 degrees at seed level in the grow box, just got some of the old tomato plant soil,, that was left over from the summer tomato grow, that is plain,, left over dirt, so it should be nice and Calm for the little seed sprouts, I moved the dirt and the 3 containers into the grow box so the dirt can warm up to room temp,, seeds are sitting in the bottom of the glass its been 24 hours

grow journal update,,, seeds were in the water glass for 2 days,, took them out,, put them in wet paper towels, and kept them at 72 degrees,, nothing,, after 2 more days,, nothing,, put them back into the glass of water,, and now,, nothing
i may go clone shopping again on thursday if they have done nothing by them,, whats wierd,, is I kinda hope they drown,, the dispensary has Sunset Sherbet clones,, we shall see

Sorry they haven't popped bro you know I have had 6 auto beans not pop as of late too not happy about that........ the Sunset Sherbert sounds good......

i was also looking at kind heart collective dispensary ,, they are sold out of jack herer,, but they do have Head Band and Sour D,,
both of these places are new to me,,, they are not the dispensaries I went to last week and had such a low experience,, and came home empty handed,,,,
I am told that kind heart collective and progressive collective have thier "stuff" together better,, lets hope so

I havent tried any head band yet but did get to try some wax of Sour D and woweeee that was some good shit!

I have another buddy that really likes the Sour D, and its a sativa dom hybrid,,
I had a Sour D on my last grow,, there was 4 plants at the start, and the Sour D couldnt take the lights,, it twisted all up and got cal mag def real bad,, and the other 3 were doing ok and hoggin up the space,, so pour Sour D got culled,, you know I dont think i have tried any sour D myself,, i should see if the dispensaries have any this Thurs

I've only had this happen once or twice, but occasionally the dispensaries will have flower from the same grower/company that they get their clones from, and when you pick up a clone you can actually sample product from the family tree. More often if they have the flower of the clone you are getting its from a different vendor, but if you've never tasted the strain before it's still fun to get some.
