Stephen Hawking

Smoked a bowl from some brand new glass earlier and started reding 'A Brief History of Time'. Finally decided to take a smoke break and its 5 hours later . The funny thing is, my whole theory on time is written out in this book so far . I guess great minds think alike.. Happy 4:20 somewhere by the way! Back to reading!

What I don't get about Hawking, is that if he's so smart, then why is he studying black holes instead of how to cure his disease?

If I were him, I'd be studying medicine in the Amazon jungle, smoking a big fat amazon joint and tripping on anything that might help me.

Hes smart like that because he is studying something that interests him and he has drive to find the answers not too many people search for. There are plenty of intelligent people out there even tho it seems our society is falling and producing more idiots. They can work on that other stuff... he has his own thing going. Everyone should be doing what makes them happy.

Wait till you get on to 'The Universe in a nutshell'. Some really difficult, counter intuitive concepts to get your head around on that one.

both were great reads! deep and challanging. the latest descovery magazine has also has 3 great theories into the universe BEFORE the big bang. it doesn't have to start from nothing!
