They look spot on to me nice stocky bushes.open them up a bit as lukio sed , take a few big fans off before flip and they will get nice and big.

The package is on its way ;)
Hello mate. Thanks a lot....for the advice AND the package. Much appreciated! (:

I'm all good man, just been doing the final weigh in on my last lot. Happy with the way its turned out. But I'm having neighbour issues which are bothering me. I go to every length possible to make sure my groom and house is smell free. But the fool next door seems to be ducting uncleaned air under the house which is connected to mine via the old floor joists. As of this minute my entire bottom floor stinks and I can smell it outside. I have had words with him a few times but he just plays dumb. Getting to the point where I feel my door could come in due to his stupidity.

As far as fans, I have all sorts in my tents. PC fans are good for a light breeze, stronger and quieter than the RAM I have. Also got a tower fan suspended on its side and an oscillating desk fan. I recently added a 14" wall fan which I have hooked to the ceiling pointing down. I highly recommend that one. I will have to see if I can find a link and post it later.
I bought the RAM for quietness which it is but it doesn't do a lot...
Damn that's rough man...having a neighbour potentially drop you in the shit. Not good. Hope you manage to sort the situation before anything bad happens, man.
Fuck me! You've got more fans than Ed Sheeran :D
I have to also be a bit careful with noise. I vent out through a foot thick cavity wall. The outside is right next to my front door...but also the gas flue. ATM it just sounds like gas coming out of the flue which is entirely normal. As long as there is no smell or strange noise I'll be OK...I hope! Obviously the bigger the fan, the more noise so it's just a case of striking a balance between moving the air and not doing it too noisily.

They've all had a haircut. Lots of big fan leaves removed as well as the crappy stuff on the bottom 3rd. Plenty of light should now be able to get to the bud sites. I'll flip in 3-4 days I think.

I'm going to name the 4 girls after ex-gf's from over the years. Jayne, Michelle, Jenny and Karen. Not sure which is which yet except the larger plant is Karen, the um......curvier of the 4 ;) When I discover which of the plants has model-ish good looks but the IQ of a wart, that'll be Jenny. Bless :) The other 2 I'll decide later.
One thing's for sure tho'.....I'm going to take care of them. I'm going to love, respect and cherish them. Feed them well and see them into their best days and watch them flourish. Then I'm going to chop the bitches up. Cut off their limbs. Hang them up to dry. Then I'm going to incinerate their asses. Now THAT is how to deal with ex-gf's!

Peace :)

I think I'm going to need an interim solution for QB's. I def need more light for flowering but I'm not entirely sure which way to go. I want LED. I want to DIY rather than pay for something that won't do what it says, like many of the lights sold on eBay/Amazon etc. Cash is an issue atm so it needs to be able to be done on the cheap but not using cheap parts....Does anyone have any suggestions?
My space is 4x2 feet. I'll be growing 6-8 plants at a time. I currently use 2 Chinese blurple panels pulling 140W each at the wall.
I'm thinking COB's are the best way to achieve what I want. Would anyone have any suggestions on which chips to use? I know Cree are good but they seem hard to get hold of in the UK. I'd appreciate any suggestions/advice. Dunno if @CobKits might have a suggestion?

Thanks in advance for any help!

:peace:

And just to prove that I'm not a total gimp here is a pic of the very first Cannabis plant I grew. I'm quite proud of this pic. Taken with my Samsung S6. I used a couple of big CFL's to grow this Fast & Vast Northern Lights.
I miss the days of opening my pantry door, looking into the crevices of this flowering girl and seeing trichs increasing day by day.....

nice man! Seems like the only problem youve actually ever had is putting the led too close. Another thing, man - get those electrics off the bloody floor, at least cable tie em up somewhere.

Whats the actual draw of those panels? they might surprise you until you get a crop in to finance the real deal like QB

@coreywebster I had a similar issue when a new neighbour moved in next door...he was always out the front smoking a phatty, until i told him i cant stand the smell and my dads a copper! all bollocks obvs but he smokes elsewhere these days. hope you sort him out.

Yeah I need to sort out my cabling but the cables are on the shelf, not the floor and I don't water the plants where they sit.......but yeah, point taken. I do need to sort it out just to minimise risk.
The panels pull 145W +/- 5%. The problem is that due to lack of space I cant get a good light spread. The 2 panels either have to be right next to eachother or in opposite corners. 1 265W QB would be perfect but until then I need to add a little extra light I think.

ah ok soz man, looked like the floor. Im so paranoid about fire cause if the flat goes up in flames my neighbours are in danger, thats what bugs me the most about growing.

so 290 actual draw in 4x2...thats enough. even if you pull half a gram per watt thats nearly what 5 ounces? that'll do till ya get some QB?

Yeah true....I just don't want to get to weigh in and find I've got 3oz or something pathetic!

Where I think the problem lies is this. ATM I have the 4 plants in a row below the 2 panels. As the plants grow they'll take up more space and so I'll need to put one panel in the other corner and have 2 plants under each of the panels. So, 2 plants under 145W and pulling say 0.5 gpW means 35g's per plant. That doesn't sound so great tbh....Maybe my logic is wrong though?

Aim for 0.5 gpw . you can always put a screen in now and pin any branches underneath to keep the canopy even. Let them go as long as possible and 4-6 should be easy .

You need £250ish for a cheap qb or cob light for a 4x2. I can build you one or help source parts if you need. No charge.

I need to break down some numbers tonight if i get a free hour because these new solskins could work out a lot cheaper for us brits.

@lukio as you point out tho' mate, it is 5Oz so not too bad......perhaps they will indeed surprise me with a slightly bigger yield. I was thinking that I could DIY a COB or 2 and use them with QB's in the future......

Actually a screen might be exactly what I need, thinking about it. If I put a panel in each corner and spread the branches out it should be way more effective than without a screen. I'll get on it and source one in the next couple of days :)
Thanks for the offer re the build/parts mate. I could def use some advice on which chips to buy. Be interesting to see how the numbers work out re the Sol Skins!
FIFA 2005 PS2 game arrived mate!! Quality packaging :) Thanks so much for your generosity. What a decent soul you are. I hope loads of good Karma comes your way dude. What a legend!! :hump:

Time for a bit of music. I first heard this band when I lived in Germany back in the late 80's. They're from California originally and they weren't particularly successful until they moved to Europe and played all the festivals and music TV shows. They still never "made it big" but I love their music. The 3 albums they did are all really good imho.
I don't quite know why but I'm slightly obsessed with this guys voice, it just really resonates with me. The woman in the band on the otherhand gives me an obsession of a slightly different kind ;) although I do like her voice as well......

I recently bought a bass guitar and these tracks are great to play along to as I learn. Not too difficult but interesting enough to keep me learning......
Ladies and gents I give you......Cock Robin :) Beware 80's music ahead :D
