Stoney or high???

I am very new to the whole sub-culture. I have lurked and made a few posts but nothing major. I was looking up info on different strains of weed and came across this description of stoney or high. I guess I am stupid or just have not smoked enough to know the difference. Like I said very new to the scene. lol

Can anyone explain?

Don't feel bad man i've been smoking since i was 15 and i'm not really sure what's the difference....I think by stoney they're refering to more of a body high...and high as more of a head high...Idk tho could somebody else help us out here?

Sativa strains tend to give you more of a euphoric, energetic, creative high. Indicas tend to give you the narcotic, body "stone", where you zone out and are locked to the couch (hence the term "couch-lock").

That didn't answer the question, so which ones which.

Personally, I've never heard stoned or high used as different descriptions and I've been in the "sub-culture" for about 20 years. To me, stoned or high are interchangeable.

Sativa gives you that awesome "high" feeling, indicas are the stoney. Or at least that's my impression of the experiance. Personally, I usually prefer indicas, because I like getting fucked up and staring at my ceiling for a few hours at a time. Or at a lavalamp. Sativa is good for smoking before work or school or someshit. Ca va?

Yeah that's what i was thinking. I think heavilysedated is right tho.

A stoney high you can do stuff. Couch lock you just sit on the couch and stare into space.

I've noticed progressions of how fucked up I am. So I named them all, or adopted the names for the stages. First I've got a "head-change", then I'm "buzzing", then comes "high", then "stoned", and the rest is either "wasted", "trashed", "smashed", or "high as a motherfucker". Lmao.

Haha hell yea, but I like the energetic high if I am over someone else's house and have to drive home.
