??Strain recommendations???

I am limited to what I can smoke, no dispensary luxuries here yet. Weed was just legalized a little bit ago, and it is still in the works.

I have tried blue dream, og kush, bubba kush, and GDP

I like the bright kick I get from blue dream, the instant head rush with the white blotches in the corners of my eyes that light up when I close them. It's like drinking a cup of coffee and not worrying having caffine jitters after smoking too much. The pheno I have really hits me in the eyes, and makes me a bit sensitive to light, but in a euphoric happy way. The OG is trippy, and makes me pass out after smoking a few bowls. I have had Bubba Kush from an acquaintance, and it smelled similar to fruity pebbles, and amazing aroma. I loved it, and it was the best smoke that I ever had in it's category. I have never smoked something so damn peaceful/happy/bliss feeling. GDP makes my brain retarded. TIA

You can look up different strains online. find something with the description your looking for. For myself, I am going to try Animal Cookies next because its supposed to help with appetite and insomnia.

I would try C-99. I have been growing it for years. It has a great fruity taste and is a great all around smoke, good for daytime.

HSO has a blue dream that is supposed to be fairly consistent. I see people talking about it quite a bit on here.

I have spent hours upon hours reading up on strains, and searching out seeds and looking at different pheno's produced. There are just too many choices. Trying to get the pros input. I ordered some agent orange about a week ago, to try. Someone mentioned to me, they thought that I liked the bubba because it is a high in CBD strain.

I am running HSO blue dream now. The pheno I have grows like a bush, and not upwards like a normal sativa. But it definately has the sativa effects. That shit can keep me up all night watching movies. So, it looks like the Indica blue dream pheno, but smokes like the sativa. Strange?

Hybrids man, could be you too. A variety of people can feel different effects from the same pot.

Recommend a seed source for Animal Cookies? I have never had the "cookies" line, at least I don't think so. All that hype about who has the real cookies, with rappers thrown in the mix, kinda turned me off to cookies, and the snobbery that goes a long with it.

I am also interested in what input you more experienced folks have.

I was thinking about ordering some cookies autoflower, just so I could try it out, might not be a bad idea for you, if you are interested in just sampling the variety. If it turns out to be a good fit for you, you could always order more autoflowers, or the photoperiod variety for your next grow after the auto. Just a thought. Hope you find the perfect fit for you.

That's just it, the perfect fit. I could give a shit about the name or hype of a strain. I want it to deliver for me. I've been reading a lot about terpens and terpen profiles. If you know the terps your after and the terps your growing., you're well on your way.

Again going from what I have read, super soil is the best option for quality terpenes/ terpene profile.

So it isn't just what you grow, but also how you grow it. I just can't afford an elaborate hydroponic setup, or any hydro setup and I know soil better than hydroponic growing, so soil was the best choice for these reasons, for me. I want the best from my plants as just about everyone does.

Some are better for indoors, others for outdoors, so that is another consideration. Who ever knew that growing pot could be so difficult?!? So many things to consider, what, when, where, how, we all have our own "why".

This year is my first real "grow", and in 30+ years a LOT has changed since then. I still have a lot to learn myself, so for now, I am sticking to what I know and the basics.

It may take a while until I find the "right" strains for me. You already have a big jump on me, knowing that one strain at least, is the right choice for you.

I have heard a lot about this strain.

Awesome, love blue berry anything. Super Lemon Haze is one of those popular European strains, I've read. I had a friend give me one of those seeds, and a critical. Have not popped them yet.

My biggest buds have come from soil, my most triched out potent buds come from aeroponic hydro. Buds are kinda small, but I was using 1.75" netpots, will go bigger next time.

I love the high of c-99 the flower time is very nice as well. I have more to run after my snozzberrys and my gg#4 crossed with mail order bride.

What breeder has good c-99 genes? Heard Female Seed has nice genetics but would like to hear opinions.

Brothers Grimm are the only ones I get as they are the original creator and I don't do feminized seeds.

Super Lemon Haze, all day for me! If I can ever get it. It always seems to be the one that's sold out whenever I try to buy seeds :-/
I first had it in Amsterdam about a month after it won the cannabis cup (for the first time), and it's still my favourite smoke to date.

I'm in the same boat. Illegal here, smoked "street weed" for 15 years but never had a choice of strains. There's endless combinations of strain & breeders. I'm just taking shots in the dark when making purchases!
