Strain Suggestions For Grow Tent?

Hello I have just ordered my first ever grow tent and as a newbie im very ecstatic! Here it is
https://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Horticulture-Hydroponic-Indoor-Growing/dp/B00H9OJHYA

As well as a 600w led light and some duct fan and carbon filter As well as some super soil. I know that this grow tent isn't the biggest out there so obviously there are gonna be some strains to avoid growing. An indica thats short enough for my grow tent to not become a problem when it starts maturing and maybe is very high in thc and cbd is perfect for me. But it really does not matter what type it is as long as its short enough for my setup. Can someone please link me one strain like that and give me some advise on my grow tent maybe. I need all the help i can get and I appreciate you reading this thank you!

I have same size tent for veg. I'd suggest looking into scrog and lst to help with height constraints. Also 1-4 plants in 3-5 gallon pots. Or sog with 1-2 gallon pots.

Hey Maynard Davids. I agree with sharptater SOG or SCROG would be your best choices for max yield in your space. For a Scrog in general it doesn't really matter what strains you use because they will get tucked underneath the netting and all level out regardless. I have been running SCROG's for a while now and I have grown all different types of strains in the same tent without issue ( I currently have 7 x 10 gallon Smart Pots in a 4x4 Tent in a SCROG). I wouldn't recommend starting out with that many plants in your SCROG though it may be to much to handle at first. For a SOG in general you want to use the same strains or all the same type of strains ( Indica's or Indica Dominant Hybrids ). Sativa's tend to not do too well in the SOG because of stretching issues. So it boils down to what your shooting for. Both the SCROG and SOG are known for good yields, but if you want the most variety of plants a SCROG would be the best option vs a SOG. I would also recommend getting a second tent or another light so you can have plants in VEG waiting to replace your Flowering plants so you can keep a steady perpetual harvest going. Hope that helps

How about you idiots let the guy fucking try to get a first grow done! Yeah lets start out with some advanced growing techniques...

He has to learn to grow 1 plant and get it right let alone a shit ton in SOG or trimming and training that he has 0 experience with!

Here kid, Pick a few "HOW TO GROW" books from this list and read up first! Your going to be too busy with measuring and metering and pH and, and, etc to be worrying about advanced grow tech! Learn to grow FIRST!

4 plants for you is enough to start here!

Someone needs to get some pussy........Way to barge like the Kool Aid man...Sigh. My first grow was a 5 plant SCROG. I did a good deal of reading before and during and it turned out great! If you read his post you would realize he is using " SuperSoil" ( Subcools layering method ) which is Organic and PH in that medium is not a concern as long as mix was done well...... another long sigh. If you are starting out using Synthetic Fertilizers or Hydroponics then I would be obliged to agree with Dr. Who but since you are going with Organic I think you will be fine with whatever method you choose. Just be sure to do your research about the growing styles first and make sure you start with a smaller number of plants than recommended to make sure you are not too overwhelmed. Overall ( other than the Synthetic bull....) Growing Fire Ass Marijuana is really not too difficult to do ( Temp, Light Schedules, Humidity, Quality Medium, LST/Supercropping, Watering Schedules, Proper Harvest time, Trimming, Whole plant Dry and then Cure of course). You can start off with one plant if you would like but I don't think it is absolutely necessary. Do you really want to listen to someone who barged in like an A hole and called the people trying to help you idiots....? Be happy to help you with anything else. Good Luck with everything brother.

It was just a suggestion of something to look into. I also said lst. I don't think that is advanced, I could be wrong. I have the same size tent with a led in it. Not much height to work with.

I just started a few months ago & with LEDs you can put them much closer to the plants than most other lights. I followed the lights 18-24" recommendation for the most part but was probably a little closer, like 14" for a while & as a result even my sativas started super bushy eith super tight node spacing. In addition to that there's always topping which helps a lot. I only have 5' total to work with (less the pot height & lights etc) so about 3' really & am not worried at all. Scrog is good too but if you start like I did, top & do a little LST to spread them out you'll be fine :)

Thanks for the help guys! My first seeds will be aurora indica from nirvana.com. Definitely my favorite part about growing cannabis is picking all the wide strains available. Anywho thanks agian for the tips :)
