Stuck in IL, where to go next?

It appears the police may be working with people more now than they were in the past. Tons of growers with many more on the way. It used to be hard to get materials, seeds, and clones that were guaranteed authintic strains. Plenty of stores now close by. Ace Hardware in the mountains carries products like Foxfarm, etc.

Had a sheriff come visit me the day after my last divorce about 2 years ago... He said there was a tip of smell... I live on a acre of land and have NEVER used any kind of carbon filter. When flowering it smells like heaven around my place. The cop was totally cool. He asked for my growers permit (state recommend). I told him I didn't have one. He said, "No problem." I did have a docters medical recommendation which is all that was required at that time. How many plants he wanted to know? Well, ummmmmm... He said, "Your good up to 99." Actually, you can only have 6 flowering/6 vegging Per each person you are growing for that has a valid medical recommendation and you have that documentation available.

When we went under the house to check space out he just looked at them and said, "Beautiful plants!" He left shortly afterward...

Had no problems ever in last 15 or so years of growing.... Going great and now expanding another space...

How is it up there in the mountains? Surrounded by hills and farmland in my location. Pretty neat that Ace's sell Foxfarm. The Ace's around my area are def not helpful.

I bet it smells like heaven! Our little flower room we have set up in our basement always smells wonderful so I can imagine the smells coming from more than 2 plants. Great to hear that you had a pleasant experience with the law. Nowadays most you hear is all crap regarding police and whatnot. Always nice to hear something positive!

Looks like you've got lots of potential in the pic there!

I live in Chicago where Rahm decriminalized up to an ounce. I drove by our first dispensary the other day, and one in Evanston a few weeks ago. Trippy to see them here. I have a nice little sog op, fuck the man -

I think IL law has a certain penalty from one to fifty plants, then the next tier is 50-250 plants. I can't do under 50, and can't do over 250 in my small space. As long as you're smart and careful, and don't ever tell ANYONE, you should be okay. May as well plant a few more since two is the same as 49. If you plant too many you can always sell the extra, you know how crazy black market prices are in this State. No one is going to dictate to me what my rights are, fuck all that. No wonder more people are leaving from IL than any other State. Whether you choose to stay or leave, good luck...
