stunted, disfigured new growth and some orange/pink powder on stems

i tried topping all of this new weird stunted growth i've had and more weird stunted growth grew in its place. the stems seem to get covered in like a light orange/pink powder where i top it. never seen this before in my years of growing. any clue what could be the culprit? i've seen things about rust mold but it doesn't look spotty. it just seems like my plants are genuinely sick.

should i chunk them all? :/

Could be broad mites. If it is you need a 60x hand held scope or better to see them under the leaves, a magnifying glass is not enough.

I see potassium deficiency, also may be its way too hot in there for them as only the tops are really curled.
