it depends on a lot of things. like how long to keep them in veg after you have bent them up good how much room will they take up and how much light is there. there rewards can be great... ie i had an old mother that was months old she was topped and supercropped she turned into a three foot bushy ass beast. when i flowered her i scrogged her down and just off her i got 7 oz. for real

that was a white ice plant that takes very well to scrog and supercropping and pruning.

userfriendly would u please explain????
The light you use, the genetics you grow, and the environment you provide are the limiting factors. It doesn't matter how you fill up the canopy. It can be sea of green, scrog, super-cropped and/or LST'd. The only way to get more bud is to expose more budsites to more light.

Super-cropping is a good way to keep plant numbers down and strengthen stems. It distributes the budsites so that you have more smaller nugs instead of one larger main colas.

The more sativa/stretchy plants need it well into flowering, but every plant should get it a.s.a.p.

You need to think of the process like bonsai.... bend, break, tie, do whatever you have to in order to get the desired shape or effect.
