Hey all, super noob here with my first ever grow. I started with some bagseed that i had laying around for a while under the assumption tht it would die partway through with one messup or another, but wow, these things are resilient...i over watered the crap out of it at the start (partly due to using promix moisture retention mix meant for potted vegetables containing coco, peatmoss and myco). Planted it in a small dixiecup sized planter inside of an old ikea closet tht i turned into a grow container 2x3
, then noobishly placed the small seedling into a home depot sized bucket with the same medium on the second week, added composted animal manure, dolomitic lime and bone meal. All under a powerful 23w 6500k cfl..

This is the first 4 weeks of life, pretty much dying and being toxified by all the excess nutes i added combined with 3 months of time release nutes that came in the medium. Last week of the month i tooped it. All under 23w of 6500cfl (noob skills) managed to keep the top of the canopy around 70-80f with RH of 60% on avg.

On the 5th week as seen in the first pic, i started LST in my new homemade smartpot that i learned how to sew just to make my own...(im supercheap and had 12yr landscaping cloth laying around) it ended up being an egg shape with my sew job, so i plunked it into an laundry basket to help along with LST.
6th week (pic to the right of the top left pic) i managed to DIY 150w of citizen 1212 cobs from kingbrite and started to give her/him some real light...finally.) week 7 and 8 (bottom 2 pics left to right) it was finally starting to drink more and dry out with a bit warmer temps in the grow room and soak up all that light to grow a ton more

On week 9 i took 4 clones and defol, week 10 was supercropping View attachment 4037595
and a bit of defol to prevent molding with all the leaves stacked on each other, then took 4 more clones week 11 more defol...View attachment 4037594 and had to flush since i had excess npk the whole time it was growing, didnt end up feeding it fast enough after the flush so it started to show signs of yellowing all over from death.... Fed it recently and now its starting to look a bit better. But you can still see the yellowing. Needs a bit more cal mag too which i will be adding into the next feeding. View attachment 4037596
This last pic is yesterday. Has pretty much filled out my 2x3 so i put it into flower. Will keep yall posted if i kill it or actually end up smoking some of my own home grown
I think i have my nute situation fixed, but i will keep a close eye on it.
Also, I want to build a lm561c strip light. They sounds pretty badass and if DIY, it can be done for cheap. If anyone has one, hit me up. I'd like to see what you have done with those diodes.
