I posted this in the newbie zone and figured since I'm keeping a journal I should put it here as well
Hi guys i'm new to the forums and I'm starting my first grow. I have already started my plants up in my home and In about 2 weeks I'll be transplanting them to an outside location. I'll be keeping a journal along the way. I have a few questions.
First off I'm growing 2 diffrent strains I Have 12 Plants all together.
I'v got some Jamaican Green Bud plants(6)(I personally smuggled the seeds into the country not in the butt though!! LOL) and I'v got some Purple Kush plants(6) growing fantastically!
1.When would be a good time to transplant them in their life cycle.( I plan to move them outside in 2weeks. They have been growing for exactly 1 week and are healthy and have pretty solid stems, I figure in 2 weeks they should be even stronger and safe to move)
2. I live in the middle of no where and I have
ACRES of land at my disposal the sites i have picked out have very good access to light,and for the first 2 weeks they are outside i will be supplying water for them every 2 days then 1x a week after. How should I prepare the land prior to the transplant? With the abundance of land there is wild life out there How should i go about protecting the plants and areas from any hungry deer or any unwanted disturbances?. Would a chicken wire fence be suffecient to deter such disturbances? I'v heard of ppl boobie-traping their sites any suggestions?
3. Right now they are in big red beer pong cups
how should i go about transplanting them from the potting soil to natural dirt soil?(The way i was going to do it was cut out the bottom of the cups and fit the soil around it and after a week remove the remaing cup walls all together)
With them being outside should I provide nutirents to them or should i leave them to grow off the natural earth? How about growth enhancers such as miracle grow should i use that stuff? would manure do the trick?
