Surprise To Me..

ok this is my first grow. Reason why it's a surprise is well, I dont know the strain. Took seeds from a bag that gave me a not bad high.
It's 3 plants, hopein all females, just put them in soil yesterday.

A couple of days ago i bought Expert Gardener Perfect Mix and Miracle Gro Liquid Plant Food, i took 3 pots from spares I'm guessing my mom wasn't/isn't using. i have a, guess you could call it, air purifier. which im gonna use as a vent, blows very cool air. i have a small fan as a osciallating fan im gonna use untill i can get a bigger one.

ok, i've been germinating seeds already. i put the soil in all 3 pots, watered it, let it sit.

well i looked at the seeds and noticed they showed the roots, i posted a comment and was told to plant immediately so i did. went to walmart bought three 26 watt cfl's giving me 300 watts. i plan to buy atleast 2 more.

here's a couple of pics so far. i plan to get some mylar from hobby lobby or somethin..and to get more bulbs and lamps this weekend too. im gonna make a cardboard barrier with mylar on it so the lights reflect and plan to put a bigger fan on the side

hey man three 26 watts gives you 78 watts total the watts your refering to is saying that your 26 watt cfl is putting out as much light as a 100 watt incadescent light and make sure your cardboard is sealed up nice not to let stray light in during dark period or light out during light period keep cfl's 1-2 inches from plant tops at all time since cfl's emmit hardly no heat

when you get your setup with your cardboard all done try to post a couple pics up so I can check it out because I was thinking of making a cheap cardboard grow box since I got a lot of them

Did you clean those pots, you probably should have they looked pretty funky.

I am also growing in my closet after outgrowing my growbox, which was great for vegging but at 40" was not tall enough for flowering. Check out the white cardboard display boards at Michael's. They are about $4 ($2 if you use the Sunday 50% off coupon) and are about 4' tall. They are perfect for partitioning off space and do a good job reflecting light, given their flat white appearance. yea k-town i meant it was equivalent to, my bad. and no grow i checked them out its just the pot i washed it out and everything so its good i hope. and lol hearmenow i forgot to mention im growing under my bed? but thanks for tips guys ill make sure the white cardboard from michaels is all sealed up nicely and ill get some more pics.

Tues, April 17
started 16/8 with my plants, and yes i mean 16/8 if u think i mean 18/6..those 8 hours im at school so its a benefit. I'm planning to make sure the plants are getting all the light they need to sprout. I think im gonna cut back on how much water i put, i dont wanna overdrown them, im using my finger to check moisture so ill use half as much as i use..i usually fill a blue party cup till about 2 inch from top ill try half that. ill take pics at the end of the week if they sprouted yet. i plan to use that miracle gro in about 4-5 weeks

UPDATE. i did wat k-t suggested and moved the cfl's down heres some pics

like i said, i think. i plan to get some more cfl's in here atleast 4 more to put in the center on each side..maybe even 6 more..i need those light sockets where its the socket and the connection..any1 know what its called and where to get it? even how much? ill prob have a amount of $40 to spend.

Ok for sure im gonna get 2 400w hps for flowering. I'm gonna try to buy some white cardboard and prob. look around for anything for growing
