Suthrngrwr's Selections (and the adventure to find them)

Starting a (semi-) perpetual grow journal, cataloging all the great plants I find along the way. Starting with a great phenotype of my first pollen chuck -- Nirvana's Pure Power Plant x The Deputy (dubbed Peacebringer). The Deputy male that was used showed great color in flower and gave off a wonderful Stardawg leaning skunkyness. Here is said specimen at ~4 weeks above ground:

Pull up a chair and follow along while I chronicle my journey in growing the best medicine possible. Feel free to comment or participate in friendly conversation.

Peacebringer and Cookies & Chem are ~5 days into flower. I have a Peacebringer male that looks identical to one of the Peacebringer females that are flowering. Collecting pollen and making F2 offspring! I'm definitely excited to see how the females flower.

Very nice job !!
So glad I came across this. I did PPP years ago a few outdoor seasons in a row. It was great. I also just recently purchased the deputy and CnC from gps am super excited for both.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Really hoping the PPP x The Deputy plants flower well.

The Deputy is a great smoke. From what I've heard of Cookies & Chem, it should be even better!

I keep hearing cookies n chem is a proven 30% smoke. I ordered one pack with some other stains and they accidentally gave me two, emailed gu and he told me to keep them. :hump:
Winner, winner!

I installed an auto drip feed system this weekend. Yay for automation!

Plants are producing resin now as well. Next set of pictures coming Sunday.

Think I’m going to pop some Boom Town beans. Help me choose the other variety to flower next: Sundance Kid, Jelly Pie or Iron Horse?

Hell yeah, the more your setup can do for you the better.... I'm gonna go with iron horse, I have an ulterior motive here though. I've seen jelly pie and sundance kid grown in the gps thread, but no iron horse yet. Boom town should be a good on too, pics I've seen look like frost monsters.

I'm finding it difficult to land on Iron Horse when @LubdaNugs has shown how badass the Jelly Pie and the Sundance Kid are. Suppose I'll save those two for later this year!

Since I already pulled out Boom Town and Iron Horse from the vault, I'll be soaking those this week!

Week 4 of flower for Peacebringer and Greenpoint Seeds' Cookies & Chem:

Looking good, can't wait to see what comes out of your garden. Keep the pics coming. Boom town looks incredible and I think iron horse will be special. I'm a fan of kosher kush.

Looking forward to seeing the F2 phenos...
I fucked up and left the pollen I collected in a closed bag. Thought it was dry enough and it was not! The resulting biomass was decidedly not useful and was chucked (mold took over).

Not a big deal -- I have over 100 more seeds to hunt through! I also need a dedicated breed chamber/tent which I don't have the space for yet. My breeding plans have to be placed on hold until next year when I plan on selecting a suitable domicile for future growing needs!

So uh... this tall plant in the back right? ~2 gallon hard plastic pot, Coco Coir + Perlite mix and the plant stretched about ~50%, bringing her to just under 4 feet tall (43 inches when the pic was taken). I'm guessing she'll pick up a few extra inches, so that plant will be a full 4 feet tall!

Stopped being lazy and took better pictures:

These plants just keep growing vertically! I think they've slowed finally and are now fully committed to developing their flowers. This is day 46:

No pics of Peacebringer #2 pheno cause it's boring. Next time I suppose...

Looks like we are finally in week 8 of flower (~9.5 weeks under 12/12). This tent is starting to overwhelm the smell control.

Full tent @ week 8:

Peacebringer #1 (check out those pink pistils):

Peacebringer #2 (she decided to play catch up):

Cookies & Chem #1 (Stardawg leaner):

Cookies & Chem #2 ( Forum Cut Cookies dominant?):
Idk man but it's looking nice.
