I just want to keep the t5.You could always setup a sting of CXB1304's on a pair 48"long pieces of the 3.5" profile from heatsink usa driven by a meanwell HLG-120H-C350B. I estimate about 47 of the 9v version will fit in series with the afore mentioned driver. So put 22-23 on each heatsink and ditch the T5 all together.

I'm considering it. I just like the higher kelvin blues I can get in t5. From my experimenting those blues really help trichrome production. I would like to try the combo first and the move full cob if need be. I don't mind buying a few small cobs. I've seen some diy Cree cob flash lights and other projects. If I don't like the small cobs I can use them for other projects.
