What's up RIU!? This will be my first thread after almost a decade of lurking..... I just recently moved from the midwest (Ohio to be exact, Go Bucks!), so my grows have always been stealth grows for personal use. I am now the proud owner owner of 10 acres in the sierra foothills, and its time to take the garden out of the tents and into the sun!!!

Oh man, ten acres that is great! It's always been a debate is weed better grown indoors or outdoors, it will never be solved. But let the debate rage on, weed gets better for it either way lol. You will find walking "upright" through your garden is a thrill, and the size of stuff omg:weed: There are of course different obstacles from growing inside, but the desired results are the same. Well the best of luck man really, and there are many many books on the subject as well right here. Good Luck...:peace:

Thanks @roundplanet. I read A LOT and honestly there is no rival to the wealth of knowledge that the members of this site are willing to share with you. RIU growers have been invaluable to me at every step of the way, I can't wait to put some names with faces at the SPRING BBQ. Just 10 days away!!!

Anyway, I will only be doing 4 outdoors this year, possibly a 5th of NY Sour Diesel, but I'll get to that later(Butte county ordinances stipulate a 10x15 area as my max) directly in the dirt with some basic amendments.

I'm running...
TH Seeds- Darkstar
Sweet Seeds- Jack 47
Sweet Seeds- Sweet Cheese
G13- Gigabud
They were all born on March 18th, so today they are 27 days young.

I just started training them about 5 days ago and they are all recovering very quickly from Tops/FIMs/SC. This is about a week ago, 20160405_123008.jpg

So the real reason I started the thread was to be able to ask a ton of questions without hijacking any one else's thread.

First question....The critical + auto, it's supposed to be seed to chop in 68 days, I'm at day 85 and she still doesn't look done to me. I'll get the scope out later to check trichs again, but last check had them mostly milky, but no Amber.

I expected it to go a little long because I took it out of the veg tent (18/6) around day 52 (march 19 just over 12 hrs sun) and put it in the greenhouse. But realistically, how much longer do you think she'll need? Ive heard often on autos, trichs don't turn Amber at all. I took it off nutes a few days ago, do you think I should start em up again or prepare to chop?

Checking in....day 37

Just got back from the BBQ which was a blast! Got some nice cuts from the fellas, and @Mohican really hooked it up with some beautiful beans from his garden. Mrs @mo also gave my girl some really excellent fruits to grow some unique lime, lemon, and orange trees.

I'll get the strains posted later today and some new pics

Good luck with your grow. I'm in for the ride.

With 10 acres of woods, you could slip around about June and put out a few small plants. They won't get big enough to warrant any attention. And with the greenhouse, you could get in a spring harvest too. After my early stuff went into early flower this year, I has got me thinking about an extra fall and spring crop.

Welcome @Larry {the} Gardener , that's the plan....marijuana everywhere!

Right now, just the greenhouse and inside in the veg tent. But I like the idea of dropping a few out in the woods too.
