not bad at all my tap water is usually around 70 I grow in waterfarms/dwc without any issues I add cal-mag 2-1/2 ml. per gallon roughly 1/2 of what you would use with r/o water I let it sit 24 hours to dissipate chlorine I've used r/o when I first started doing the hydro these pics are of 2 of my tap-water hydro grows I use gh 3 - part flora series nutes & the simple recirculating schedule + cal- magIMG_0313.JPGIMG_0835.JPG

Thanks for the replays gents ! I was a little worried until I got a PPM meter. I'm running Maxibloom , florolicius plus and rapid root with CalMag plus self watering system in soil. I plan to switch to royal gold basement mix witch is coco based and am interested to see if there are any differences.

After posting I looked up my towns water supply plant. Turns out they put a lot of money into it lol. I wondered why my first grow when I moved here had a MagCal def lol. Before I make the move to coco I wasn't sure if I needed to invest in a RO setup ? Would be optomal but is it needed ?

Deff not needed, your water is as close as it gets to RO. When your water gets to 250-350 then its time to look into ro system.

An RO setup would be a waste IMO.

My tap water at one of my spots is 50ppm(@.5). I also grow in coco, and i also rock maxibloom.
In bloom:
2.5ml/gal of calmag, 3.75ml/gal maxibloom for a total of around 850-900ppm(@.5) or 1.7-1.8EC.

One of my other spots I use an RO system(only for the indoor) because of the well water. I usually add a little bit more calmag there.
