Love my Tasty T1-2100s. Might have to get a new T1-V196 just for enhanced lighting between the two 2100s. But doing just fine with the two I have. If I do, though, I'm gonna need you to send me 2 adapters or whatever to daisy chain these things.

@Rahz recently purchased the t-2 v362. I have it in a 2x2 I am using it to flower at this point. In this space height should be 14-16 as stated? Full power? Is full power in this space to much for vegging at this height?

Im using t4-2100s. At full power in veg they were still bleaching leaves at 16 to 18" above. So i dialled back to 3/4 power and 20 to 24" above and that seems to be better. Might still be too much.

Awesome lights tho....

Also, if the leaves show bleaching you might see some nute deficiency on lower fans. I discovered that this shows up right in sync with the bleaching... so back off the lights if that happens and see what that does before chasing down any deficiencies...

Worth mentioning that the strain im working seems quite sensitive so... youre experience may differ...

Once the root system is established and the plant isn't in danger of drying out they can generally take as much in veg as they do in flower, but you can run them at 50-60% in veg and still get excellent growth rates.

I think most strains will do fine in flower at 14-16".

Small update on the company... I'm looking into having the metal fabrication done for me now that the company has some funds to play with. The lamp I originally wanted to build would have been the T22 which was a 4 emitter square lamp so that will be the first model I will have fabricated 3rd party.

I will continue producing all 4 models until the T22 comes along at which point I will continue to build T1s and T3s until I can work out their replacements too. I have a test unit being shipped to me but don't have a time frame on release, so no point in revealing stats at this point but it's going to happen some time in 2017.

Progress is slow getting a 3rd party involved. I gave a company thermal requirements and the prototype they sent me has these dinky heat sinks, maybe 2mm thick base plate, and about 50% less surface area than I require. I pointed this out and their first offer was to increase heat sink length by 20% (still not enough fin area) and that the engineer said the base plate was thick enough. I think they only stock the one profile, but they are going to look into it. This prompted me to contact several other companies but the Chinese New Year has slowed everything down.

I'm also considering keeping the lamps exactly the way they are and having a local business do the CNC work on the sheet metal. I would still do the sanding, brakes and powder coating. It's not ideal but at this point being able to increase volume has become important.

However things work out there will be a T22 model in '17. I have the design work done on an in house enclosure and a massive heatsink on the way. I'll have the prototype done in a couple weeks and maybe include a couple in the next batch I start.

Anyway, the current batch of lamps will start hitting the website around the end of this week. I took some time off for the holiday season which was a mistake and am still trying to catch up.

Keep up the good work @Rahz
Why not just farm out the powder coat and have the case components ready to assemble? I'm sure you can source a manufacturer within the US that will fab the sheet metal and powder it all for a reasonable price :hump:
Seeing how a lot of big operations are so automated these days

Thanks. I've talked to a couple local fabrication companies but the Chinese option is attractive, custom enclosure with the smaller components and AC wiring already installed, wago hook ups ready to accept the leads, heat sinks already machined for the emitters. All I would have to do is install the drivers, mount the LEDs and wire the DC circuit so production time will drop dramatically over any other option except having someone send me finished lamps.

Hey Evil! Maybe I missed it but how'd you make out w/ your harvest on those 2 bushy plants under your Tastys?
Personal issues led to me being dumped and thrown out, so I wasn't able to finish the last 2 weeks out appropriately. You could easily estimate 10-12 oz or more from that, though. Each top was fist sized. Then, the secondary sites. Probably 20-30 colas for the one plant, 8 for the other. All dense as fuck. This next round, we'll see through.

On another note, that CTF really fucking is something. Never felt a fuller high in my life. And it was creative, euphoric, and uplifting. Fruity, with a hint of milk chocolate, and either a slight pepper or sandalwood.
