Here we go from clone to harvest (hopefully!).

New setup, new flower cab...will walk through it step by step with picture tutorial.

Sept 5, put clones into SWC SoG
Sept 6, lowering lights to within inches of plants (2 - 100watt CFL & 4 - 23watt CFL)

That's 24 plants, but there are three in there that didn't have root systems. I re-dipped them into clone powder. Let's see if we can get roots to develop!

I'll veg for no more than 2 weeks, or until they start choking each other. Then, into the DWC SoG flower. 2 - 18 gallon reservoirs, each holding 12 plants.

Flower Chamber #2 in progress. Got my exhaust fan mounted...put a little noise dampening material (folded shirt) between the fan and the frame. Put a charcoal pre-filter over the fan shroud. Won't completely eliminate the smell, but with an ONA puck I think it'll be alright. I'm only going to flower 24 plants in here ;)

Here's another shot. Notice the 2x4's on the right...they need to be back by 1.5". This is when you know you're too high and too tired to keep on going.

for sure, the cfl's are going to stunt the streach growth and bush out alittle more, you are growing from clone right

what strain?!!! i can't wait to see this thing take off and you got another res tank too because they are going to need lots of water, but damn this is getting me excited i'll stay tuned in.

Be interesting to see how this pans out.
I value the voices of experience here, so if anybody with DWC and/or SoG experience foresees a problem please let me know.

I'll be putting these clones to flower anywhere from 7-14 days of veg. I plan on cutting all lower growth off and just maintain a canopy of tops and maybe a little side growth where possible. I'm contemplating putting a screen in the cabinet, but that'll have to wait and I'll see what happens.

Don't wait too long after they root to switch to flowering, keep them small and grow buds not plants.

your going to need a bigger reservoir tank because i heard that just two plants can drink up to 2 gallons witch is will lower your pH or rise it.:peace:

Flower Cabinet; still needs to be sealed, painted, lights, ventilation holes and vent hose. Got everything to do it, but it's gonna have to wait till Sunday...sigh.

400watt hps, air pump, & mylar has been ordered and is on its way! Should be here by Tuesday so look for an update then.

Time to figure out how to vent this light so I don't end up boiling 36 gallons of root soup.

nice set up, but i'm pretty sure your still going to need another res tank, hydro everything moves faster and if you get off balanced then it's hard to recover unless you know what you are doing, and i'm telling you 12 plants each would need a 5 gallon buffer so they don't get ph burned or nuts burn

Yea, I'm probably going to run a 10 gallon res behind the cabinet for easy access and circulate the water on a continual basis. I don't think they are going to use as much water as you suspect. The plants probably won't get over 10" tall and will have very limited vegetation. I've grown 8 plants to over a foot tall in a 20 gallon res. They only used 1 gallon every 2 to 3 days. These reservoirs are 18 gallons each w/12 plants each. I expect the same or less usage, but the last thing I want is burned nuts ;)
