Another day, another 10-20% increase in size. DWC never ceases to amaze me. My air pump rocks! HID's kick ass! Proper ventilation is cool. I opened the cabinet door and one of my girls jumped out and high fived me. They're happy.

Hey very nice setup i have almost the same thing but i did a 6 site and use a 30 gal tubberware just like yours from walmart! check out my gallery.

I wanna give you my 2 cents, make sure there are enough air bubbles supply to all the plant site and dont forget your get root balls. If there are more bubbles/air on one side then that side would grow alot more then the other side and will overshadow the side with least bubbles. That is what i learn from my first dwc/sog grow.

And another consideration is plant support, if you plan on vegging for a few days then pruning(which u should or else you'll end up with a huge bush and alot of non-compact buds) don't forget about plant support trillis nettings works great.

GL on your grow and holla back if u have questions.

Hey its me again, i just finish reading through your thread from page one. Nice pump i got one too, that is just perfect for those 2 tubs.

On the subject of the plant eating up all the water, you probably would have to worry about that during the 3-5 wk of flowering. I have 1 momma in one of those 18gal tub and they drink up probably till theres only 2 gal left in 3 days(5ft tall mommas).

Another thing is if you can move your airpump out of the growroom that would be nice because its blowing in cool air instead of the air inside the growspace, and also it vibrates so maybe it can be disturbing the growth of the plants.

are you saying it is better to have cold air bubbles going threw that? and is it better for the water to be cold warm or room temp?

room temperature would be good, too hot would cause root rot and increase in bacteria activity. But you would want to introduce cooler air into the water then the air in your growspace(hoter) to keep it cool in there.

how about some plans or pictures of inside those NICE grow tubs :)
I'll snap a picture before next use. It's basically just a 5" and a 4" round air stones siliconed to the bottom of the tub. That pump puts out enough air to create a nice bubbly water current in there.

I've been thinking about this. I'm hoping the cabinet gets so full they support each other.

I took a peek at your gallery. That is one impressive setup you've got.

My air temps in that cabinet are staying around 75f, the same temp as the room it's in. I'm going to put the pump on the floor of that cabinet as soon as I pick up some check valves from petsmart this weekend.
