TDS for Nutes in soil

I have been using fox farm nutes and keeping the TDS within the following range when watering:

Seedlings, Early Sprouts.........100 ppm to 250 ppm--------0.2 ec - 0.5 ec

Early Vegging....................... ...300 ppm to 400 ppm--------0.6 ec - 0.8 ec

Full Vegetation.................... ....450 ppm to 700 ppm--------0.9 ec - 1.4 ec

Early Blooming...................... ...750 ppm to 950 ppm--------1.5 ec - 1.9 ec

Full Mature Blooms..................1000 ppm to 1600 ppm------2.0 ec - 3.2 ec

I am measuring the TDS in the water I am using to water my plants.

I measured my runoff today for TDS and needless to say it was pretty high 1300. I only use nutes every third or 4th watering. I am currently in my 4th week of vegetative state.

Is there a different measure I should be using to measure my runoff after watering vs measure my TDS in the water I am using to water my plants?

I hope this makes sense.

Tds means total disolved solids so it shows you the total amount of particles in your water if you are using it with soil ur run off will be full of stuff from the soil, you should only worry about reading ur ph from the run off.
