Term limits for SCOTUS?

There is a movement afoot to term limit SCOTUS. What do you think? Good idea?

Personally, I am not so sure. I think maybe a mandatory retirement age would be better than term limits, say 68 years of age.

ALL politicians should have term limits. SCOTUS are nothing more than politicians.

I am also ambivalent, but I think that 68 is too young for mandating retirement in any profession.

I think that an individual's preference is largely dependent upon whose political ox is being gored.
This is where the genius of the founding fathers comes into focus...separation of powers and the reigning in of a wayward executive branch.
Congress simply needs to do it's job.
