I'll stop crying over first world problems, I'm "happy" to pay my taxes by working almost continuously.....................update

Round 3 day 29 of 13/11 from seed under timber's blux décor vero 29 1750k cob fixture(296watts) & osram 730nm trigger up my ass=====with my two anesthesia girls.

View attachment 4112724 View attachment 4112725 View attachment 4112726 View attachment 4112727 .........not enough stretching to supercrop over the 30gal pot, will raise the fixture. Starting to see some slight irregularities with the tops, so it will give me a quick check off if that's the issue?doubt it. Cold root zone is most likely the culprit,shocker!/s. Cut down on watering and will finally give them a Azomite/rainwater application for shits and giggles as always. Rock dust isn't doing anything beneficial probably till after i'm dead:mrgreen:, but it makes me feel better inside.

View attachment 4112732 View attachment 4112733 View attachment 4112734 ........fuck you meter, complicated button layout and no battery backup==really china?

Are you running the light full blast 296 watts?

Yes friend, 296w from seed every round..............no dimmer/pot on this fixture , wanted full output

@DankaDank says a resistor solves the pot-loss issue? have no experience to know if true............. obviously i'm electronically inept if I can't even figure out the Fahrenheit mode on my fucking meter:eyesmoke:
Lol
Buy a new driver with dimming capabilities and with the electric you will save it'll pay for itself in no time! Lol

You Have Dimming Options. Just Remove The Rubber Plug And Wala Theirs A Pot for Dimming :peace:
I like a knob, lol, jokes incoming........ well aware of the dimming series of drivers. Prefer not to fuck with a plug / screw and bombing out my efficiency.

Full wattage from seed is my thing, but I can understand the want/need for the option (height restricted, etc.) ....... to each their own.

Brother PurpleBuz I'm Not A Fan Of Mixing Mono's With High Powered Cobs For Spectral Enhancement. Sounds Like Your Building A New Lamp And Want To Add Some Red So May I Suggest 3000k 97 Cri Will Do Ya Better Than The 3000k 80 Cri With Mono's.:hump:

As Far As The 1750's Are Concerned Theirs Not Any Down Side To Running Them And I Do Believe They Will Be More Efficient Than The Mono'sbongsmilie
You do know monos are mostly more efficient then cobs right?
And I'm sorry but you'll never enhance a cob w/ high CRI like you will w/ monos.
NEVER! And as far as results go, eh, you dunno Shit DogNutz.

haha your half right go easy on the dawg.

The newer high cri cobs like the meat chips are real and effective in providing a real wide fat band in the deep reds to far red range. Mixing with a standard 3000k 80 cri cob works well and may give us a better flowering spectrum than boosting with 660 nm reds.

But the efficiency sucks and as far as I can tell efficiency still trumps spectrum (assuming we are talking about reasonable spectrums and not edge scenarios)

Psssst If Mono's Are Mostly (What Ever That Means) Efficient Then Why Are We Fucking With Cobs Smart Azz.??????

And Second Go Change Your Dipper Little Boy bongsmilie

Must I explain everything to the slow kid.
Quality monos (like the ones in my Amare's) haha, you live when I do that hu,
Monos includ. Whites, range in efficiency based on their color. Averaging out to be more efficient then Cobs. & can be driven softer to equal out efficiencies while still doing what it's intended to do because theirs more spread as well as more intensity /density (especially w/ lens). Just logic, common sense & raw data.
You use cobs because:
-They are cheap to make
-easy to build w/
-cheap
-cheap
-easy to build w/
Someone told you to.
Nice rig, but if your just adding 660 red & cob salad then eh, its alright.

I'll not mention the Fahrenheit meter problem.....
You'e taken enough flak already......

The monos under the phosphor will be more efficient without the layer....................nothing new

quantity, quality, duration can sum up the light needs for indoor cultivation, so far efficiency trumps . LPS, 2.7ppf/w R&B led fixtures, nobody wants to mess with though........it's a balance

What's Lps?
Personally, I'd like to try a fixture that's 50/50, using a full range of colors along w/ 1 white k temp.

Sorry, never got this notification hybridway..........LPS stands for low pressure sodium, was king of efficiency(lm/w) for decades=== growers stuck with hps due to the better SPD

Another Tuesday, whatever..................update

Round 3 Day 36 of 13/11 from seed under timber's b-lux décor vero 29 1750k fixture(296 watts) & osram 730nm trigger up my ass=====with my two anesthesia girls.

DSC06913.JPG DSC06914.JPG DSC06915.JPG .............definitely had a hiccup last week, new shoots look ok though. Using a cheap moisture probe to keep my watering habits in check with these cool temps, haven't given them a drop for a week so far. The white clovers will give me a sign anyways before the deeper rooted ladies.

DSC06916.JPG DSC06917.JPG DSC06918.JPG DSC06919.JPG ..........just a quick supercrop , stems where surprisingly rigid with no circulation fan on since germ. I'll hold off first feeding of Dr e. vega till temps warm up a bit, it's fucking april and another snow storm on Saturday; figures.

We had snow yesterday but it hasn't lasted. Still cold though.

Your new growth is looking better.
My plants water uptake is slow too
