Sensi Star day 29 under the COBs
000_0004.JPG
I'm noticing more resin on the cob plants. Not sure they are growing any faster, but definitely going to put on some weight. The Purple storm from the day 41 run spent most of its flowering period under the cobs. I believe it went under at day seven. The cob PS is thicker more resinous, and more purple than the other PS under the DE.

If money wasn't so tight right now I would be buying more cobs pronto. My next purchase probably won't be for a couple months. Santa better not fuck around this year. :fire:

Qrazy Quake seedlings full of promise:lol: 9/10 popped.

Has anyone seen this type of growth before? My Chem Glue cross has strange growth pattern on each of the 5 females from seed. Check it out. Day 17 of flower, they seem healthy and have stretched more than double.

Has anyone had experience with this sorta thing? I want to run her (it) anyway and see what it will do.

>>some times selfed seed will throw the odd pre female flower male pod..generally that is all you will ever see..even if you clone it

i know this from experience..

Thanks @OLD MOTHER SATIVA I've been keeping a close eye on that plant, and it has been pure female so far. The seed was made with a traditional male x female though. not selfed.

Any idea on the weird curl on the tops? Was thinking it could be from the soil, but I have my Sensi Star and KO clones in the same soil, and they are carrying on like normal. Plants don't seem to be negatively affected, but I thought it was odd.

Pic with the yellow heaters turned off. The 3590s are growing fatter, more resinous, more colorful buds.. The Kolossus from seed front left has colas as big as my forearm.

Its like a jungle in there right now though. RH @82 right now, lights off. I've got a dehuy coming in tomorrow though so that should help.

Hey @cindysid, I am not sure just boiling water would do the trick, on the soil. You would have to pasteurize to get rid of all the critters, but I'm not to keen on killing off the bennies. I'm actually having some problems with thrips right now too, and have sprayed spinosad about 3 times, with 3-4 days in between. Trying to knock them out before they get established.

My protocol so far has been to remove any infected leaves, or leaf litter from the garden. Then to spray the spinosad mix coating the plant, and today's batch got some insecticide soap too. I think its just the time of year, they make there way into the garden. Any other ideas?
The thrips life cycle is 16 days...with that said I did 7 treatments of spinosad. The reason is I thought they were gone but the fuckers came back in small numbers. I also drenched my soil when I sprayed and I "hope" they are not coming back. I am in day 33 12/12 and I did my last spray in the first week of 12/12. My long winded point is I would spray two more times even after they seem to be gone. Good luck.

For sure they are hard to get rid of. Pest free currently, and have recently mixed neem meal in the soil to keep bugs down.

Thanks @CaptainCAVEMAN fucking love these plants.

I ended up with 709 grams of hard nug from the 6 plants in batch A. The heaviest of the plants was from the Purple Storm that spent a week under the DE, then a couple weeks under the COB fixture then the last 5 weeks in between the two light sources. It weight out at 174gs of rock solid nugs. For every 1 thing that went wrong with this cycle, 3 things went right!

Looks great...and my battle continues. Any input on using spinosad this late in flower is greatly appreciated.

Day 63 Time for this sweet mellow Kollosus pheno 1 to come down. Massive forarm colas on her.
100_5152.JPG
The Crescent Moon (working title) phenos are all coming along nicely. Good structure on 4 of 5 plants. Great bud to leaf ratio on all 5 plants. Excellent resin on all 5, but 2 out of the 5 are stellar.
Day 48 Pheno 4- This pheno has amazing bud to leaf ratio, and the smaller leaves are all coated in resin. Starting to see the raised resin tacos with purple hues on the leaves. Sadly I failed to transplant a cutting of this plant, but I am going to try to reveg her. The Chem Dawg is coming through on the smell, petrol, diesel, Kush, with mango undertones, coming from the Sat dominant father. Density is great, and she looks like she will finish at 8 weeks
I really hope she will reveg so I can get some Clones.
100_5159.JPG

Day 48 Pheno 3 is very close to the 4, slightly smaller plant. She was a runt, but you couldn't tell it now. A little less Chem coming through, more on the fruity tones, but not as loud in general. Bud to leaf again is excellent, leaves are sparse letting light penetrate soaking every bud. One more notable trait, each plant tripled in the first 3 weeks of flo. A trait coming from both the Chem and the donor father.

Just took down this CM #4 tonight, this is the winner of the group for many reasons. Diesel danky terps on this one, frosty too. Failed to pot up a clone due to forgetfulness, gonna try and reveg this beauty to get some cuts.

Took the rest of the CMs down at 59 days. This girl is a winner, CM 3. #doghairweed

The other 3 phenos were airy and foxtailed. All had resin for days, 1 out of the 5 was throwing late flower nanners. Had the weakest stems and fluffy flowers with a peanut butter haze smells.

Just building another 8 cob cxb and running a full room. More updates to follow.

The fireballs turned out dank, but low on the yield. I'm running 2 phenos again to see if I want to keep.
