Thank you Patients....and others

I just wanted to take a second to thank all of you gals and guys out there for all of the input
over the last few month's...its being a trying time...to say the least...and while its may be far from over yet...
and since we have a break in the action...its a good time to reflect on whats been going on..
So thanks to this patient community.....for all you provide in support for each other....
its truly a stand up community of somewhat like mind individuals....

If we knew each other off the board I'm sure many of us could be good friends....

I feel like I can breathe again. I was getting pretty wound up there for a bit. I've no doubt that a lot of us would be good friends if we met. Maybe we'll have to plan something for the "big one". The whole tone of the board has changed or is that just me projecting? I like that I have "friends" here because I really don't associate with a lot of people otherwise. Isolation is a terrible thing. For tonight however, I think I will have a little extra nip of tincture.

I've only been on here a short time, but being able to share my views with like minded people and venting about Harper and HC is therapeutic! There are a few on here I'd enjoy medicating with. If you're ever on Vancouver Island....

Same sorry again if I came across so strong minded but I was so stressed for the last while... I love everyone's opinions good or bad if we quit debating than we quit learning peace and p.s don't let Heath Canada's gab at patients again tonight bother anyone lets celebrate..... I am smoking one for all the Davids taking on Goliath!!! Lol

Enjoyed lurking and learning for years and finally confident enough to help and keep people informed and thinking.

I would agree that this forum has be a great outlet for many. While recently it has appeared to be dark in light of the recent changes, I for one feel lucky to have stumbled across this site when I did. Just over a year ago before prescribed marijuana I was on a feeding tube as a result of lead poisoning and was taking roughly 22 pills a day. Today I take 2 pills, consume pot and feel as if I can manage. This forum taught me how to use marijuana as I never tried it really prior to my illness and would like to thank the many members whom took the time to post here. I must admit I can barely afford to medicate due to lack of resources but fear I could end up back on a tube causes me to afford it but cost is already a concern.
I am hopeful that these changes are found to be as unconstitutional as they are and us patients need not suffer anymore. In the mean time I think if we all remain keeping one and other up to date with what is occurring in the background I'm sure we will know how to proceed.

we are really quite lucky to have a good dedicated section here at RIU....
and its growing to from the looks of the post counts etc....
Plus we have been keeping sunni busy deleting stuff too...lol

This is a great site. Ive been an idiot (hey..My appliance is friggin' fried most days dare boyz) on a number of occasions and have yet to recieve a spanking. Thanks to everybody who donated even a few bucks to Conroy. Man that was so awesome...for now anyways. Give me a few months to bury some jars properly. I wonder how many of us were gonna go stuff the snowbank in the back yard with mason jars Aril 1? The whole cat litter thing was just over the top stupidy. Who comes up with this shit? The same people who come up with Tim Hortons commercials?
