So, I have this strain called THC Bomb going and it's, THE BOMB :)

This is my second run with this strain and I'm having a nearly flawless grow nearing harvest, so I thought I'd post a little bud PrOn. Let me know what you think.

Highlights
THC Bomb is the signature hybrid strain from Bomb Seeds, and as its name indicates, it was developed to have very high THC levels—upwards of 20%! This bomb won’t completely knock you off your feet, though, thanks to its well-rounded hybrid mix. THC Bomb can be grown indoors and out. Plants are shorter but hardy and should mature in 7 to 9 weeks to produce large yields. Flowers will be large and have an even covering of bright orange hairs.

The leaf yellowing and minor necrotic spots you see is from a previous cal-mag deficiency that I have since sorted out and will not be an issue in future grows. I had a little bit of leaf damage after my last watering due to my PH meter giving incorrect readings. I had to add an inordinate amount of PH down like never before and I thought nothing of it initially, and went ahead and watered. The next day I saw some white bleaching on a few leaves that was not normal or recognized, so I searched for the problem. I zeroed on on what caused my problem. I have been using the same digital PH meter for a year or so and it's always reliable. Recently it has been requiring calibration at every watering, so I thought it was about time to replace with my emergency back up PH meter. Bad fucking move. I was PH'ing to 5.9 and I double checked with my usual meter and it was reading 5.1. I nearly shit a log right where I stood. I'm very anal about my grow as I put a lot of effort, time, and funds into this thing, so a word to the wise fellas; always make sure your PH meter is reliable and you have a reliable backup in case that one fails.

That PH meter that fucked me was bought over 6 months ago and never taken out of the package, and I had to find out the hard way it was fucked from the get go.

When something seems amiss, you're probably right.

how do you like growing in tomato cages? ive thought about it, but I wouldn't be able to keep my hood low enough in veg to have the cages in there.

I use tomato cages, except I cut off the lowest ring. The cage legs then fit perfectly in 3 gallon pots, and about 1 foot shorter than how they come. I still use bamboo stakes with the cages on the more stretchy plants.

Same here. I cut off the lowest ring to bring the cage down a bit. Macguvyer style bitches :)

all though, I like stakes much better. cages begin to feel like...well, a cage at some point resulting in less mobility.
