ThC247 Grow Diary (AutoPot)

Right then i thought it was about time to Start a Diary and document the progress and methods i use im not at any point claiming to know it all and this aint a place to start a bitch fight all positive comments are welcome just like all genuine questions are welcome .

Ok so first off i will be using an Autopot setup i have had a couple runs already and really like the ease of use and how they work i use canna terra soil and mix with perlite around 50/50 i also add an inch an half of clay pebbles in bottoms of the 15 litre pots in the pots i use airdomes and the clay pebbles almost cover the airdomes in the pots then i fill the pots with the 50/50 mix of canna soil and perlite.


right now im cleaning out the space and the cuttings have just started showing roots so any day now the show will begin

for veg i will be using the following
Superthrive
Stimulator 1 H&G
Terra vega

strains to choose from uk cheese , suicide cheese , royal cheese , zlh , lemon skunk ,

The Autopots are connected to a 450 litre res with an air pump and air stone constantly mixing the water and nutrients and feeding the pots i do use a water timer on my res so i can inplement dry periods when i choose as i think this is a must and really think the autopots should come with these as standard

anyways i will be posting back regular with updates and pictures

little update for this diary i have had the cuttings potted up into the 15 l autopots for 10 days now and will be switching the system on tomorow to get the ball rolling i am very happy with the progress of all plants in the 10 days they have been establishing them self in the final pots have been feeding superthrive rhizotonic and terra vega temps 26 degrees and i have 16 plants under 4x600 w hps sunmaster in a 2mx2mx2m tent lights on 18/6 pics to come tomorow when i switch the system on
plants currently in area royal cheese x 12 suicide cheese x2 and lemon skunk x 1 im using terra professional and terra professional plus mixed with perlite at around 50/50

it has been a bit of a delayed start with my lazy ass and being stoned 24/7 i did want to of had this running weeks ago but ye the time has arrived and this is where the magic starts so take a seat and rest your feet strap yourselves in and let the fun begin ...............

Got to finnish layering the tops of pots with pebbles and switch the system on today will get all the lids on trays and get the net installed on the front will be turning on the air domes today to come on with the lights prob 1 week of veg then we flip the script and flower em out

quick update they drank 60 litres in 2 days so im guessing they are really about to explode there load soon and start showing some nice strong growth
i have got to tighten the net up and get the one in the 6.5l pot out and into my momma tent

i also had problems locating stimulator 1 and went with rhizotonic but seeing the ph rise to 8 using rhizotonic decided in future its got to be roots excelerator H&G

ok so here is my nutrient details

water left for 24 hours in a water butt

my water b4 adding anything
my ph 7.8
Ec 562 us

per 25 l of water i add
6ml superthrive
50ml Rhizotonic
90ml Terra Vega
after adding nutes
Ec 109x10=1090 converted is 1.1

my ph reads between 7.8-8.0 i use ph down and get it to 6.5 always let it mix well and take readings 2+hours after adding feeds when i know its stable i turn the tap on for the system to feed the pots

i have had 16 plants drink 200 liters in 3 days the pots and trays were bone dry imo that does concern me as it seems outrageous the volume being drunk but my rh is around 40% so i cant see it all being evaporated and the plants do grow faster than i have ever seen
my last run i didn't add enough support thats why this time im using 2 nets in all one u can see already i have been tucking the branches back under when they pop through and i will add the 2nd net when i flip so the buds will grow up into the 2nd net but at moment 60 l in 2 days is whats getting drunk and i will constantly monitor and log it all here

refilled tank yesterday after leaving it empty for 2 days 100l ph 6.5 ec 1.2 the net is filling out nicely pics to come later

spent a good few hours today grafting got a 2nd net in place cleaned res and spreyed top dressing on pots with neem oil to keep any little cunts out refilled tank to 1.2 EC PH 6.5 AGAIN the TANK IS TURNED OFF for a dry period and timers have been changed to 12/12 i will switch the tank back on tomoro when lights come on i got all the hard work out the way today and i love this part now let the magic happen more pics to come soon all growing nice and very fast....

Auto pots are just easy to use all i used for about past 6 year done most systems in my time but all ways go bk to ap's looking good

mate finnally im not alone .another ap believer lol i cant believe how easy they are i used to have to lug in buckets in and out the tent jugging water every 2-3 days used to break my back
they grow so fast and i really cant see me ever going back to hand watering tbh what medium do u use mate and what brands of nutes etc do u have any pointers or tips you found or does it seem i have everything how i need it in your opinion ?

Been using them since they first came out and all ways go back to them,has long has you get air rings in the bottom of trays problem free growth with large yeilds

OK So i checked the Ec and Ph of the tank and the trays and the ph is fluctuating between 6.5 and 6.7 so im not worried about that to be honest as i know the air stones can play a part there and a little fluctuation is expected.The trays Ec is higher than the tank reading 1.2 and the trays 1.3 so i have topped the tank up with Ph 6.5 Water and reduced tank to 1.1 and monitoring it again in a few days ,
they are drinking like crazy thou

Why using Terra in hydro? Wouldn't the aqua Vega or the coco a & b be better?

to be fair i had a lot of terra vega and terra floors left from previous grows i wasnt going to purchase anything until i used what i had left but the reason for terra is because im using terra professional plus mixed with perlite as medium . coco would be better but they are fine with soil too i mix 50/50 with perlite and i went with soil as i was using soil when i purchased the auto pots and have been wanting to move over to coco but i origionally purchased the auto pots to use with soil and only since have thought about coco
my understanding with aqua would be if i chose a medium to match ?
