The AeroGarden

what's up, been reading some of these since I got mine a month ago. been growing regular herbs in it with light\water setting for herbs. do you think this is a problem when it comes to growing my other "herbs"or what. and as far as ph goes just dump the water out and go fresh and with the roots on my basil I just cut em off so they dont get root rot and to keep em in control. was a bonsai method I picked up. plus read into drip aeroponics and you get more info into the tool we have.
! having troubles starting tho they just wont go. start em on paper towels everything looks ok then they just sit in there and get rotten. no activity. was thinking maybe my nutrients were too strong for starting plants .using stock nutriendts still (I know I know get the good stuff) what do you think, should maybe just keep trying

Has anyone actually grown marijuana in an aerogarden? I mean actually from seed to bud and then smoke.

i've heard one success story, and that was from the guy that started this thread. He got around 7g's per plant.

If you put too many plants in there, they will eventually strangle each other. They could get halfway through flower. I had 3 plants in dwc, a 20litre container, that's 4 gallons. Still one plant died. So in a 1 gallon? You guys haven't got a chance in hell of pulling a decent yield if you put more than ONE plant in there.

Amen brother...even then you would to flower really early. The thing is I paid $149.95 for my AG and for that much you can by a real system or make one....like I said I use mine for starting and cloning...but that is still too expensive to have a dedicated machine taking up space.

Hi all. This is my first post. Skunk. Thanks for the great forum & thanks Tec for the great thread on the AG. I actually received an AG as a gift and figured I’d give it a try. Actually I just started a week ago. I had some seeds left over from some bunk weed that a friend gave me, so I tried germinating 7. That’s the only way I’ve been getting weed (friends who give it to me.) I’m in an uptight town and I’m too paranoid to buy seeds. I only got one seed to take, so hopefully it’s a female. I’ll only be using the AG for my mother and clones. I’ll be veging under 400 HPS in a separate system. I’ll post pics of my progress.

Just one question. Skunk. You mentioned previously in this thread that you’ve had great results with SensiZym. So I keyword searched it and just yesterday you said that your local hydro store tested it and found it to be bunk. Could you please clarify. Thks.

the second picture is of one branch of one plant from the ag and the first is of Nickie she was 80 days old when harvested

How many plants did you grow in, i tried to search your name but it didn't get too far.

someone really needs to post a step by step manual on usage of the ag for marijuana growing
like which settings for which growth stage
along with other needs in addition to the ag
like what nutes to use
extra lighting specifics
etc


with all the people on this thread that said they've used the ag for growing
we should all be able to come together and form some kind of manual or something

I smoked 20 grams this weekend..........

Just got an AG today at Linens&Things, 20% off with coupon. Anyway planted some old bag seeds i had, i'm in the US so that's the only way i can get them, lol. If I can get a yield even remotely close to what r32115 got, i'll be SUPER happy.

i have one of these for veggin and clones. i also have a big bubbleponics system for flowering under a 400 hps works great!

it's a fun easy way to get some buds for your personal stash, it's not gonna make you millions but it's fun to grow and smoke!!!

id really like to see some pics if there are any of buding plants in the aerogarden thanx

u really wouldnt get that much bud from it,its really not big enough for the roots... great for veggin and clones

I've never done this before so I can't tell if a plant is doing well or not. I took some dry leaves off near the bottom. Now i noticed some yellow near the top. I'm really going to be bummed if my buddy kills over.

flower NOW!!! and dont pull off leaves

I'd cover those holes up with some duct tape. You def. don't want any stray light getting into your reservoir, it could hurt your roots.
