u really wouldnt get that much bud from it,its really not big enough for the roots... great for veggin and clones
i pulled a total of a few ounces from my aerogarden 3 plants they were great and it was easy.

here is the last one standing harvested at 90 days old, and one branch of another plant once dried

Roots will actually grow away from the light... they're like those little shadow creatures in horror movies... and if they get caught in the light they wither and die.

I've watched it happen... but I wouldn't do it again.

Holes are covered now. Ok here is a stupid question how do I start to flower it? Just give it more light?

Yeah, I feel for Leonard. I'm in the same river. Got my little babies running, and I can't take enough peeks at their progress. Here's a photo of such a random peek.

But, like Leonard, I don't know about timers and foxfarm nutes. I'm not in 'Merica, so I don't have Wal-Marts and stuff. I didn't see anytimes like that in my hardware store. I'm looking for the simplest hacks for a humble yield.

Enjoy the photo! Please any suggestions, and corrections to my approach so far :P

Hey there pylon... welcome to rollitup. I wish you all the best with your grow, it looks as though you have everything in order at the moment.

I have tried several times to bud in an AG but no luck, I would to see picture of buds growing in an AG. When I have gotten to flowering stage and switched from18/6 to 12/12 the plants double or triple in size during flowering. The roots from 2 plants will completly fill the tank.

hey pylon i wouldn't recommend using mirrors in there, (if that is what that is) i may be stoned, either way you should use foil instead of mirrors but some mylar from the hardware/garden store would be best.

your yield will still be down, there simply isn't enough room unless you partition off the roots from each other. Roots will tangle around each other and thios can stop one or both of the plants uptaking nutes as they should...

Cutting your yield down. There isn't enough room in the AG for even 2 plants without them being partitioned away from each other.

even with the yield being down, it still produces between 10-30 g per plant, you have to remember that the people buying the aerogarden are just looking for a easy discrete way to grow a little bit of personal.

I take it you've had successful harvests of 30g per plant in the AG, with more than one plant in there? In a 1 gallon container? Doesn't make any sense... now 10g sounds more like it... and really, is it worth the effort? One decent fem in there could get you an oz and a half to 2oz. From seed, give her a 6 week veg' and this should get you 2oz in a 1 gallon container. Less if you use clones. A 2-3 week veg should be enough from clone. The AG is only meant for one cannabis plant.

It's like seeting up a DWC grow, and saying "I know, I'll shove them all into a 1 gallon container." It just sounds ludicrous.

IMO.:mrgreen::blsmoke::peace:
