Thanks for the advise!
Haha mmmmmmmm pizza
I never had a pizza smelling tea lol
all my teas smell like sweet mother nature :leaf:
I think it was the molasss making the smell..i added it last so it didnt mix in and aerate for a little first. I added 3 shotglass full of molasses. Trying to get it in the bucket fast. I think that was more than enough. So that added to smell. It still foamed up.

1) Does it take a month to "activate" the super soil? Is this too short of a time? yes or else it could be too strong, waiting at least 1 month before using is recommended

My original plan was to veg during that one month period and when or if the soil is ready I would jump into flowering right away.

2) is subcools super soil a flower ready mix? Or a all around mix From start to finish

I did notice that most ingredients focus on flowering.

3) is subcools super soil meant to be a outdoor soil or can it be used for indoor? either

4)I read from diffrent people that it's more of a outdoor mix. True or false? false

5) can I use RO water instead of tap water? Should I add more cal mag to the soil or water? Or can I brew light teas to feed with the super soil? Or is this too strong you can use tea with super soil, but plain water is working fine for me, I hear use calmag if you use RO water from subcool in some video

My real concerns is the time it takes to activate because I'm worried it will cause hot spots or not correctly function and cause lock outs of defs. I know organics is a long process so a month seems a little early. (will our hot sun speed up the process?)

And my other main concern is my RO water, I dnt want to run into cal mag problems or over do it for that matter.

Thanks for your time RIU growers!!

Also I used my supersoil right away in the past and once it seems it was a little too hot but overall it worked fine, just use slightly less if you use it right away and use a little more plain soil when you transplant so that the roots take longer to hit the supersoil.

(will update veg ASAP)
ok so im actually movin real soon so next update will be in her new home:leaf:

shes actually getting so heavy that i had to provide extra supprt.
im afraid that i might damage her during the move. but i will try my hardest to be gentle:-P

ive been sticking to the vital earth feeding program other then pHing my feed. shes at a steady 6.8pH

my last feed was actually the strongest yet at 700 ppm,my next tea willbe slightly stronger, then from then on i might start to lower the feed. not sure yet... any who heres some pics.

BTW let me know what i can do to improve the picture quality.

Lovely garden man, beautiful looking buds, nice and frosty buds.

Read the post about ph'ing compost tea, would this apply to General Hydroponics Vegan Compost tea concentrate?

Peace to all and happy growing.

sadly during the events of me moving, i decided to cut my grow, although she is fully mature and about 20 percent ambers, i still feel like i could of given her a extra week.
but moving got me soo stressed i decided to go with my gut instinct and start over.
heres the other fucked up part, I LOST ALL MY LAST PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF ONE MINUTE THEY WHERE THERE next they where gone???? FUCKKKKK!!!! but not to fear, ill post some beautiful bud pictures ASAP.
so because i ended this grow early, im going to keep it going with another journal, i was orignially going to stop, BUT FUCK IT WHATS ANOTHER?????!!!!!! HAHAH:leaf::leaf:

cool flyhi let me know the new thread (why do you start a new thread, did you change your setup?)

dont woory man if your buds were frosty they will get you high. the 2 plants I harvested early are just fine for personal consumption, a different high that I wasnt use to... ( I dunno may be its my head ) but it seems like I get a very clear headed high, I feel it behind my eyes, I see nice colors (maybe its the weather!!) and if its night time it makes me crash. As far as helping out a friend I would sell cheaper coze it doesnt have the same bag appeal and I cannot say I am super proud of it... it would have been amazing with the extra 2 weeks but sometimes u gotta do what u gotta do!!

well these orange bud nugs LOOK KILLER bomb and smell DANK!!!!

im going to keep this thread the same and just add to it, just not sure what to do,

what do u guys think should i look for a new strain to grow? or should i give the orange bud another run?

pros of running orange bud agian
-test myself and go for a better yield and quality
-i already have clones that have been vegging for months
-also i get to stay in the party cup comepetiion because ill go staright into flowering

cons
-same strain, can be a little boring
-NEED TO VEG FOR WEEKS WHICH I FEEL I DONT HAVE TIME FOR
-probaley have to drop out of party cup competiton
I HAVE another project that wont start for another two months so i figure why not go at it agian?

HERE IS A LIST STRAIN OF WHAT I CAN GET MY HANDS ON
LET ME KNOW WHAT U GUYS WOULD DO,
START FROM CLONE AND VEG
or just jump right into flower with my orange buds?

no brainer if you got the clones already going...(you know how long it takes to start from scratch!?You will be less than a month from harvesting by the time the seeds get delivered to you!!) and the competition!!! test yourself for better yield buddy

I'd try a new strain, but that's me. I'm in to experimenting and haven't found but one or two that I really want to do again. Though I must admit I'm gettin pretty good results from clonning so far, took 7 cuts from 2 white widow x big bud's and they all are goin crazy in the clone dome.
