OK ...

I'm a legal medical user/grower in California. Even though I abide by my county's limit of six flowering plants, I grow more than I can use. Are you guys saying that according to Prop. 215 and SB 420, I can legally sell my excess to compassion clubs?

My understanding is/was that a medical user cannot sell his/her crop, or even give it away.

Vi

yeah thats correct. according to the law you cant sell or give your stuff away.

If you are a patient under SB420, you CAN sell marijuana to a caregiver, as long as that collective is one you officially belong to. I mean, where do you think that weed comes from? That is the very essence of what Co-op means.
Just as long as you never have more than a half pound of dried flower, and 12 immature OR 6 mature plants.
That's how it works. See, my wife is also a patient, so we can have up to 1 pound of dried flower, 24 immature OR 12 mature plants. If I had a friend with a licence move into my house, we could have 1 and1/2 pounds of dried flower and up to 36 immature or 18 mature plants.
This is what a collective is, and it is how Pharmacies, for the time being, work in California. They get their patients to grow for each other, and Clubs only facilitate this exchange. that's why when Clubs make a profit, the State and Feds shut them down.
