The first rule of COB club. Always talk about your cobs?

Anyway, just finished hanging up my Tasty T4-2100s and putting away the HIDs and fans. They're hanging over what is supposed to be Romulans, but... I dunno... think they're a chuckers special. They don't look very Romulan to me...

So a mystery run here. They're looking good. 9 days since flip, so... let's bring on the buds.

Yeah but if the cobs keep going the way they are in veg so far and do the same in flower the side by side might be over before it starts lol

I'll get some pics in a bit and edit this post as to not clog up your thread :)

Yeah it is lol prob doesn't do much of anything tbh.

It's my 2nd plant lol
the diy co2 do add a little help i have seen side by sides that do look deifferent

Pretty sure the only regret you'll have is waiting so long to switch to COBs ;)
Well i am already liking the canopy temp stabalization. I thought it might take me a day or so to nail that down, but before i crashed last night i had it dialled in. Rock solid 82/83f. That was one of the most frustrating things with hps, always adjusting fans etc... so there's that. Lol cant wait to see the flowers start up.

Question... im in promix with 3.5 gal pots... with my temps... how often should i expect to water?

Watering needs change with the size of the plants so no definitive answer. In my exp with the 3 gal pots you're looking at about every bother day until the roots fill in and you get into late veg early flower then most likely daily with no up potting.

$400 worth of overpriced lighting. And it's only 90w at the wall. If I'd looked into it sooner. I'd have around 200w of Growmau5 IV leds... For about the same price. I'm not hating on this little GrowSmart 135. It's pretty neat actually.

Comes with a few preloaded lighting profiles you can tweak. Including; Sunny, Cloudy, Sunrise/Sunset. And custom.

It's capable of linking up to 2000w of other GrowSmart units. And only needs the one controller to tune the lot.

The only downfall is that without the controller. The unit can only be turned on and off. There's no profiles. No Bloom-Veg switch. Just on and off.

Also. The controller is an additional 100 bucks. Kinda ridiculous pricing really.

Also. That little remote isn't a necessity for tuning. But the skinny one with the cord attached to it is. That's the touch panel controller.

Yeah difficult to say as Evil mentioned but based on what you came from you were probably watering every 2 days, in that case I'd say around 3. Just switched off my CMH and was watering my 3gal's every other day, towards the end they were barely making 48 hours. Right now running only the COBs and temps down to 77-80 my 3gal's are lasting 3 days in the stretch, likely dry up in two days once get into flowering.

in veg and early flower i run my temps higher ~85 the lack of IR emitted from the cobs has to be compensated for imo this in turn helps my soil dry more regularly and keeping a more regular water schedule

Hmmmm... some say 80 to 85, some say higherish, and evidently some like it lower... now i am confused about temps...lol
