So i looked up JTR and apparently it has some Romulan in it.
And that had me read up on the Romulan. Turns out that there is far more sativa in the original Rom then i thought. Given that my Rom is a back cross with a thai sativa and all of a sudden i have a lot more confidence that my Rom is authentic...

Anyone rebuild or customize their Optic light?
I have a pair of 120's, they were my first COB lights. I'm wondering about disassembling them -- the only reason being to remove them from the "lunch box" and attach them to longer bars so that I can spread them apart more. I have considered moving the Vero 18's to individual passive heat sinks, but the simplest and least expensive option (for now) is to just use what's there. The goal is to put them in the corners of a 3x3 for supplemental lighting, so I want each pair about 2.5' apart.
They seem to be very straight forward, I'm just wondering if there is anything I should look out for. The only thing I've thought of so far is that I'll need to attach small pieces of steel or iron to the heat sinks so that the magnets on the lenses have attachment points. Any other thoughts?

So as is my MO, i took a lower larf bud off the ROMs (about day 25 after flip) to sample....not for taste, of course, but for potential potency and type of high. What i have found is that the potency doesnt change much from week four-ish to finish. The type of high does a bit though...
And if what i have is a true backcross Romulan then...giddy up! Its spacey couchlock fire. Kicked my ass.
Anyway a spacey bodystone. Cant wait to try it cured good and proper. Now... having switched to cobs for this new strain i cant compare what role the cobs have on potency in this run. Ill have to run them on the AK or WR, my go-tos to find out...
Meanwhile, ill have to keep my hands away from the scissors till the right time comes and that is going to be difficult. Think i found a new favourite...
The biggest difference i have noticed so far between cobs and hid is how the buds begin to form. Its a lot tighter with the cobs and that makes sense in relation to all that is said about cobs producing denser buds.

A month since the flip? NICE! I'm 26 days since flip on my current cob run and they're not stacked anything like that yet! Money Maker is the cultivar i'm growing predominantly, got a few Abusive OG plants too but they're equally as far behind/along.A month of flowering today.
Looks like you should be in for a nice healthy yield!

Um I just go day by day and make sure to write down what day I'm on right as I wake up. But I believe they are 50-60 days. I focused so hard on day counts that I would open my tent many many times a day. Now I just wake up write down rotate my plants, and water if needed. And keep it closed for the rest of the day haha

The flip date was 10/4 on these.
Am growing them with some extra effort. Also changing the nute regime a bit(who says canna boost don't work! ). (Canna boost is supposed to increase the flavor/smell terps along with size(without tricantanol), but is really $$$.)
They are gonna be fat girls.
