I know...you just want clarification .

Follow this link to a blog of "good food". They are very worried.

http://raw100.ning.com/forum/topics/house-bill-hr-875-to-outlaw

People worry all the time over things that they shouldn't. I've read the entire text of the bill, and I just can't see where backyard gardens are being targeted at all.

In fact, they define "food production facility" (which is what they want to regulate) as:

food production facility' means any farm, ranch, orchard, vineyard, aquaculture facility, or confined animal-feeding operation.

My backyard garden is not any of these, by any stretch of the imagination.

No, you are correct, your personal garden will still be available to you, but not organically. Your seed will come from the likes of Monsanto and your ferts and insecticides as well.

So at this juncture, yes, you can still grow in your yard, at this juncture.

It's all in the steps.....

When I typed my location address, "I live in a country that forbids growing tomatoes, but encourages cannabis production" I was only joking.

However, it seems like one day it may be true.

The government is close to legalizing marijuana in my state, and according to this, about to ban my tomatoes.

Its a very strange world we live in.

before you base your opinion on someone else's opinion about gm food, watch this http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/the_future_of_food/

(its a buisness run for a prophet and it does not help the people, it can only harm us) but that's my opinion
?
So are you saying artificial food isn't a huge improvement over natural food?
You don't think vegetables would be better with spider or salmon genes or pesticide genes?

Pesticide has genes now? That's way scarier than GM food!
