Ya wtf people retarded this isn't Skywalker period idk how all this shit gets mixed up so much. I know this is rhe original cut from 92 here's high times with it listed as NL5 x 92 og they just keep contradicting themselves every other month first matts then orgnkid now it's vault and just bred 2 years ago or some stupid shit they can't make up their mind I just know this is the one people want and I'll get it to ya I been slammed buddy look even Matt is posting it like they're his the og claiming it's his and Colorado bubba is the vault which doesn't make sense bubba been around since early 90's and I know it's original cut buddy been growing it here for almost a decade now View attachment 3853604
I asked orgnkid he said his Bubba Kush is the Bubba Kush from Matt.
So if they made it how is it matts?
They didn't make Bubba Kush they made the Colorado Bubba which they say tastes like Fruity Pebbles. High Times just have the genetics listed wrong they didn't include the other parent. High times still says Matt was creator of Bubba Kush I was just showing you what I found. I know we went through this but you were the first I've ever heard that has Bubba Kush that's fruity pebbles.

And I personally asked orgnkid does the Bubba Kush he grows comes from Matt and he said yes. Asked the smell and flavor and same as to what I know coffee dank kushy. I really think you have the Bubba cus you said you smoked it in FL growing up but Bubba Kush wasn't found till 97 by Matt story. I really think you have the Bubba aka NL. Here's some pics of the NL IMG_0936.PNG

IMG_0983.PNG

Doesn't it look very similar to the Bubba Kush orgnkid runs? Def can see the NL in the nug structure

@akhiymjames @Afgan King Don't want to add fuel to the fire, but real Bubba has a very strong and unique coffee musk to it. With Out A Doubt.

Have Bubba crosses through the "M" lines, easily distinguished by the coffee Bubba musk, as well as either plant, and/or bud structure.

@Afgan King Bro, I know that you're down, but you're talking '92 and or pre-'92 cuts. Based on what I know of your age, you were fresh out of diapers at that time. I was smokin' deep already, exposed to "The Scene" (SoCal). Not growin' then, too young and too busy, but already "in the mix" and "aware".

Bubba is for real coffee musk.

You have mentioned numerous times "Bubba Kush", "Kush" being key, as "Kush" was used to distinguish a "Cross" back in the day (not only designating it as a cross, but the type of plane it was crossed with).

It's been known as bubba kush since 92 in lake Brantley Florida about 10 minutes up the street from where I live. I've been smoking it since 2000....same fruity pebbles taste since then..... remember he went from Florida with the bubba to Cali in 96 when y'all first started smoking it. I know where my cut came from for a fact, I won't argue it it doesn't matter katsu is the coffee musk bubba is the fruity pebbles. I have the original bubba same one from 1992

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I thought you were ~28. That would put you at 11-12 in 2000. Before 2000, I knew Bubba, had smoked Bubba, and so had the rest of CA. It's a strain that (according to the "Story") originated in CA. Regardless of where it came from, everyone, and I mean "Everyone" knows the Bubba coffee musk. I have never heard of, smelled, or smoked something with a fruity nose/flavor trying to be passed as Bubba. If it doesn't have that Bubba coffee musk, it ain't Bubba. I grew Bubba years back, when it was strong in the scene and took over OG for a bit, then lost it when everyone and their grandma started growing it, demand flopped back to OG's.

Even in a Google search, I can't find anything that says Bubba smells fruity.

Here is M5. This is the Bubba dominant (one of, 8 and 9 are also Bubba dominant) of the Bubba crosses (also includes 7 and 10, which are GSC dom). I easily identified these as Animal Cookies x Bubba due to the unmistakable Bubba coffee musk. Animal is the known mother from the 1/8 acquired at one of the top clubs in LA that grows their own, so well established that they do not accept new members/walk ins without having a current member offer you a "Friend Reference". They also have legit Bubba, coffee musk.

Looking at your pics, bud structure is kinda similar to Bubba, which is odd. Maybe someone popped some Bubba bagseed and ran with the name due to it's popularity.

I'm not out to contradict you, or knock a cut, but real Bubba has a strong coffee musk, 1,000% sure, I'd bet my dick on it, and this goes back to before you were smoking, before you hit puberty. (I'll be 40 in a couple years) No disrespect intended with the "puberty" remark, just utilized for "effect". :bigjoint:

See this what I'm saying bro Matt says Bubba Kush seeds weren't made and found till 97. Until then there was no such thing as Bubba Kush...Bubba yes because he was growing Bubba along with the 92 OG. He was told the seeds that produce Bubba was NL but didn't know for sure so he called it Bubba cus that's what he was called by everyone.

To end it all I've asked Matt on IG what does the original Bubba Kush smell and taste like and if he answers me I will show it here for everyone. I will ask orgnkid again too but I've seen him say his cut came from Matt and they all say coffee kush like.

Yours def doesn't look like that Colorado Bubba pic either but I truly think you have the NL aka Bubba cus your nugs look very similar to those NL pics I posted and it has that same nug structure as the Bubba Kush but way different look in the leaves of Bubba Kush I've seen. I wasn't trying to make you upset or anything and I know we've went through this already just was passing along some info. Ive checked the Farm, ICmag any old posts that has talked about Bubba Kush and I have never heard fruity pebbles. Fruity Pebbles wasn't from what I know even being talked about as a smell of strain until it was created by Alien

Buddy bubba was one of the very first smokes I got to experience in 2000 same with the original crippy and the fl og. Smoked em since I'm not saying the Cali one isn't coffee because it is I'm just saying the original cut of bubba from Florida isn't coffee. I've had the bubba kush from cali I have katsu and when I first smoked what they called bubba kush from I argued it wasn't it. I'm telling you @Odin* this cut is older and harder to find I've gotten it thru friends whos parents grew up with him and started cannaseurs out here with him years ago. There's multiple cuts this one is better

Again, not knockin' your cut, sure it's fire, but I'm not talkin' Cali Bubba, this is what the world knows as Bubba. Never heard of a fruity nose to Bubba. Also, this Bubba ran rampant, spread across the US.

I wish I had my old Bubba so I could bring you a sample and sprig. Closest thing I have is M5, 8, 9. I'll bring those, hopefully that will suffice. :bigjoint:

I'm down I was gonna say I'll hand ya a cut lol as far as I've know there's 3 cuts. The coffee Cali cut, the very sweet pre 98 Colorado cut, and the fruity Florida cut. Just talked to my boy who's knows a shit ton he said the Cali one is the coffee kush everyone knows it's the most wide spread along with the pre 98. Said the berger cut is a less well known but fruity and he's had all 3. Said his mentor told him there's also a bubba kush from the 80's coffee as well. Gotta remember matts cuts aren't really what they say they are. The story I've heard my whole life is the bubba kush (his cut) is a bag seed from a new Orleans bag of northern lights called it bubba kush cuz him and his buddies always called eachother bubba and it had the crown kush look and kush was a popular name floating around and the 92 og aka florida og aka original og kush is a seed from Amsterdam that was supposed to be sour deisel. When they grew them out they named it og kush cuz "it sounded cool and kush was a big thing and the term og was floating around alot." I'll be happy to slide u a cut just to help you forget about the coffee one and join me on the mouthwatering fruity flavor side lol

held katsu for a long time, would not group in fruit whatsoever, was kinda thrown with the whole "bubba" being fruity thing too, can't recall anyone having referred to either as fruity, pre'98 or katsu, and it's funny how when we get a sliver of legality how all the history just appears like all these cats weren't already on the internet and had the opportunity to shed light way back when, just an interesting if odd observation

No bro that's where your confusing things Bubba Kush was not popped until 97 when Breal found the seeds in a batch of Bubba. Bubba is the NL seeds he grew with the OG in 92 not Bubba Kush. Bubba Kush came from the OG herming onto Bubba and seeds found by Breal and crew when they copped packs of Bubba from Matt. This is why I keep saying I don't think your cut is Bubba Kush I think you have the Bubba aka NL

http://hightimes.com/grow/grow-masters-session-imperial-genetics/

That's the link to article but here is what Matt said in that high times interview

"Now let's get into how Bubba Kush came into play before we talk about Kurple Fantasy.

[Bubba] Bubba Kush started in California when I first brought my cuttings there in '96. I brought four cuts. Kush, Bubba, Purple Indica, and a strain called K.Y. The K.Y. quickly died off.

The origins of the Bubba came from seeds I got in New Orleans, which were told to me to be Northern Lights and were from Nor Cal. I was not exactly sure what it was, so I named it Bubba. That's what I called all my friends, and that's what all my friends ended up calling me (which is how I became known as Bubba), so I figured I would just call that bud, "Bubba." It was a short, stocky, oaky, magic forest-smelling plant. So I brought the Bubba and the Kush to Los Angeles. The Kushhermed and pollinated the Bubba. Then seeds were found by B-Real and Kenji from Cypress Hill. When they found my seeds, they called me up telling me they found seeds in my Bubba, and that was the birth of the Bubba Kush. It was 1997.

Ya that's what I'm saying is I believe this is the real bubba the one no one has like I said in mine I heard bagseed from northern lights in new Orleans lmao and that's word of mouth too. Again not too worried I know what I got is a prize of a bitch that almost no one has and that a lot have never seen. I gotta reclone for ya I started a whole new room for it lol so I'll take some cuts for you tonight the og and bubba picked up some led bars had my clone room I was using pretty much freeze a lot of shit so restarted at a buddies IMG_20161214_151751330.jpg

So just talked to my buddy he said it's bubba it's the cut from 91-92 that no one has lol so technically a NL#5 aka Bubba the mother of one of the biggest hype strains in history and I'm pretty happy. He said "I told u it's irreplaceable there's a reason I told you I wanted us to breed with her badly" lol also said he never thought about just knew it was the rarest cut we got and it's from 91-92 time frame and a bagseed from new Orleans lol so ya it's the bubba lol

Yea see that's what I think you have cus I know I've smoked pounds of Bubba Kush and there wasn't anything fruity. That's why I said you was the first to say that ever lol I think we finally got it straightened out.
