Jesus this thread moves fast! Mawnin peeps. How's everyone?

Had to defoliate a number of fans leaves from my skunk, they were HUGE! 11 blades per leaf, never got that before. I've only ever seen them go up to 9. They were completely covering all the flowers, no light getting in there at all so had no choice, they had to go.

My first time using coco, maybe that has something to do with it... Although I have a kush next to it, normal growth on that. It could also just be the genetic make up of the plant. She's very bushy!

What type of pots are you using Kit ?
Do you find yourself watering more using the coco than soil ?

Actually it looks a bit squashed! Even without the fan leaves. I had to take 6 in total over the past week. I'll throw up pics later when they're awake.

I mostly use 12L root pouches, aka fabric pots. The skunk is in one of those but the kush is in a 12L air pot. I don't particularly like them but it was all I had to hand at the time.

I water twice a week, 1L each time. They're wk7 in veg now. I have to drip feed them though, pain in the arse but if I dump the water in too fast, it all drains out.

Soil wasn't a million miles off for watering, I don't think. Maybe a difference of 500mls per plant per week.

I'll check them out man. Seems like a handy yoke to have.

@kit10
I've been reading about those fabric pots. They seem to add more oxygen to the roots. I think there only €5 each so might go with them for my next grow.

Did you add a lot of perlite or did you go 100% coco ?

I got them for 2.50 a pot in growshop.ie but they might have gone up by now.

I have plagron coco bricks. 1 brick makes 9L and I topped it up with perlite to fill the 12L pot.

Like I said earlier, this is my first time using coco, I can't comment on how it will be in flower but so far in veg it's pretty easy.
