The Left unifies under the People's Party Platform, what is the Democratic Party waiting for?

i disagree.. i dont see the point of spending someone elses money (tax.. maybe even parents) if i know what im studying wont help me contribute back into the economy. i can study art history on my own time with google
Do you have a college degree?

Who are you to say that art history is less valuable than auto mechanics?

I say that a student who wants to better themselves does not need to be railroaded into a vocational skill just because they need help getting tuition.

i agree with that in a way. but i also like the idea of people getting valuable skills if our taxes are paying it.. anything from doctor to farmer. just seems to me that itd make more sense paying for something thatll improve society.

Some revolution...

All they seem to care about is free college and healthcare. None of these berntwits seem to have anything to say about police murdering black and indigenous people in the streets. None of them talk about ending colonialism. None of them talk about reparations or dismantling the war economy. None of them are talking about the environment.

Hmmmm, you sure seem to have it in for art history...

I got a degree in business administration and entrepreneurship. It did fuck all in terms of my later career. How do you know which degree is better than another?

My father got a Master's in English Literature (his Master's thesis was on Chaucer) and yet later he was an integral part of perhaps the greatest swords to plowshares treaty in human history; turning thousands of former Soviet nuclear warheads into fuel for nuclear reactors to make electricity here in America. Are you going to say his degree was a waste just because there were no wrenches involved?

I say let's control the cost of getting the degrees in the first place, rather than deciding who can get which one.

that would make much more sense.
also i never brought up art history, you did.. i just said an arts program. it really all depends what someone plans on doing with the degree. i think the best way to do it, would be to have violations... if you violate a bunch of terms for your free schooling.. your free ride is over

That's the way it usually works.

If only there was a political organization that would act on any of those you have mentioned in this post. It could be paradise on earth!

honestly im for everything on that list... except free college. free trade schools would be more ideal.
The college is for 4 years of public or trade..the idea is to get the education and not have $40k in student loans to start your career with.

That's a car payment minimally.

You're not spending someone else's money. That mindset is incorrect..it's the governments. We then, are supposed to vote on how it gets divided.
