The Little Things

hi
i am just getting set up for an 8 bucket DWC system in a 5x5 tent with 2-600w hid with hoods. i have all the major components, ie lights, fan, ducting, buckets, pumps, air stones, nutrients, baskets, carbon filter.
My question is what else do i need. you know, all the little things, ph meter, do i need a ppm meter? proper trimming scissors etc. what am i missing and need?
Thanks

From the extensive research I've done, you definitely want good ph and ppm meters for any type of hydro. Don't forget a temp/RH meter and an aquarium thermometer would probably be a good idea as well.

pH and PPM meter (look for an option to display EC as well as ppm, helps if you are looking at an off brand meter) are necessary for DWC. You will want a submersible thermometer to monitor reservoir temps.
What grow media are you using? Hydroton?
Do you have your timers all set for flower photo-period?
How about small fans for moving air inside the tent to thicken up the branches and help to prevent mold?
Be sure to pick up some patience as well, I have found that to help the most so far ha-ha.
Pick up a graduated pyrex beaker/flask for measuring liquid nutes if you don't have one - eyeballing is a bad place to be.
Eyedroppers or pipettes for pH up and down, if you want to get fancy -- its fairly easy to use too much especially when EC is low and the water isn't well buffered
I have a small dehumidifier for flower, its nice for keeping the RH around 40-45% and only cost about 25 bucks

The fun purchases come later if you don't have them already - but mason jars, microscopes/jewelers loops, bubble bags (or equivalent or the trimmings) , trimming sheers -- things that make you salivate watching your plant finish up.

Have two fans might pick up a third

Don't expect humidity to be a problem here. Might even be too dry.

I have mason jars. Is a dozen quart size enuf. Lol.
Will order up some jewellers loops, trimming sheers, and bubble bags

I sure appreciate the suggestions. Anything else?
