The Meaning of Life

Love.
Love of youself. Not being stuck up, but being able to smile at yourself in the mirror once in awhile.
Love of every individual who has defined you as you are when you are most accepting and loving of who you are.
Love for those who have loved you in some way. The girlfriend who did nothing to hurt you, stuck with you, but had to move. The boyfriend who gave you everything but the stars, but had to break it off when you both changed in different ways.
Love for your friends, for their love is great as well. The ones who would take a bullet for you, stand in line for tickets for you, or even throw a party for you when you're down. The amazing friends who will show up at your house after a family member dies, gives you a hug, lets you cry and say nothing, then pull out a joint for your personal use.
Love for your family. I think no matter what, we instinctually want to love our families. It is those who are truly blessed, whether or not they know it, that have families who can take their changes in strides and continue loving them.

Last...love of the one. We all think about it at one point or another. Finding the one who found us. You no longer look for romance in anyone else again. You know after you kiss them that you never want to kiss anyone but them again. They stay with you. They laugh with you. They cry with you. They argue with you.
To have that person is the greatest thing in the world. To know that if there is a God, he batted a grin your way when you decided to randomly talk to someone (5 times out of 10, it's not love at first sight. It's incredible wonder. It's usually the first word they say). You want to grow old with them. Marry them. Have a family with them.
Roll over every morning and wrap your arm around them.

I say with no ego I've found that person. She'll be my wife before January. I am young, no doubt, but for anyone who has truly felt this, age is the smallest variable. In fact, there are no variables. It's all confirmations.

So to me, Love is the meaning of life. It seems rare in our dark times, but it is very easy to find. No one is ever truly without it.

"It surrounds us, binds us, and ties all things together."

It's the force.
