yo man just found this site and thank fk i did,

Have you tried the new coco boost stuff that is on the market. It cost a lot of money and is it really woth it?

I love the coco growing and have only used a and b this time (first time) and the results are below. Did not even use the pk.

The only other 2 things are molassess and a product called RIPEN. But i will be doing a full product grow journal and see what we get.

Costs so bloody much though.

Peace out!
yep ive used many 5 liters of canna boost accelerator over about a year, but i no longer use it, i think all canna products are well worth the molney with the exception of the boost... just my opinion tho, i know some experienced growers that still use it claiming that it greatly increases quality and resin production as well as a 5% increase in yield. I myself am not impreesed with product enough to continue buying it.

It works well for foiliar feeds and lasts a long time that way fyi.
if i were to use it again it would be for foiliars and maybe i would use for the last 2 weeks but as you say, it is pricey... if you have the money and you only are growing a few plants than i would go for it, if thats not the case than skip it.

Hi J....I have a question mate. Suffering a bit of cal/mag deficiency with my Blue Cheese as I'm not using tap water. I was going to raise the individual cal and mg supplements a bit more for it. But I have quite a bit of Biobizz Alg-a-mic left over, it makes a great foilar feed and can be used as a soil drench too. It contains cal and mg as trace nutrients. What do you reckon mixing a little of this along with my Coco A+B? To provide a little extra cal/mg boost? Just be interested to hear your thoughts dude. Thanks. :joint:
what else is in it? does it have a NPK or guaranteed analyst on the label?

i think that it may have hormones and vitamines in it?? if you are using canna rhizotonic and cannazym, i might be worried about overdoing it with a hormone, vitamin, ect that is in both products. rhizo has a lot of stuff in it, so if you do use the biobizz i would cut my additives back and maybe the base nutes if the biobizz has a high npk... at least for the first couple feedings.

those are my concerns and just normal "cal/mag" would be safest but i know u said it was hard to find in your area, so i guess you could go for it.

if you have a meter than i would add about 200-250 ppm of the biobizz stuff and see what that does for you. but first try to find out the npk and how much of what is in it. I'm sure you could use it without problem but u never know.

yeah man, that's kinda what I was thinking, subsititue it in for a bit of rhizo. NPK is only 0.01, so it's more about the trace nutrients. It's a seaweed extract. Gonna give it a try and see how how they respond.

Cheers mate. SW

it should say on your bottles...

but it starts as low as 8ml per gallon and goes as high as 13ml per gallon depending on what stage of life your plant is in and how aggressive you want to feed.

use the coco A and coco B in equal amounts... and add them one at a time to your water.

if your wanting to grow %100 organic than it is a great line. It is truly organic and it's even %100 vegan as well.

also if you buy the bio terra plus along with the biocanna nutes than you will not need to adjust the ph ! The bio terra will also hold and release nutrients based on how much/often you feed ! -very smart and advanced stuff and very high quality ingredients.

so if u want true organic/vegan than its a great line to buy... having said that, it should be noted that most experts agree that you cannot get as heavy of yields with %100 organics as you can achive with synthetics... the choice is yours.

if you have specific questions i might be able to give you some better details.
nice thread------100% organic yields in soil(organic based mediums) can match those of hydro with the correct application of techniques and methods.

HERE IS SOME INFO ON CANNA'S ADDITIVES THAT I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE HAD ON THE FIRST POST OR TWO BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER...

CANNA additives are products meant for use alongside the main nutrient.
They are not complete nutrients themselves but a way to complete your nutrients during the different stages in the growing cycle of your crop. They are used to improve plant health and yield.
There are four different additives available, all with their own purpose.

Rhizotonic

Rhizotonic

CANNA RHIZOTONIC is a powerful, algae based, vegetative stimulator for roots of fast-growing plants that already have roots or root initials. RHIZOTONIC stimulates further root development, increases the plant’s resistance to disease and promotes its inner and outer strength.
RHIZOTONIC is 100% natural, and contains multiple vitamins. RHIZOTONIC influences the root environment and is the ideal supplement for the crop environment created by the grower. RHIZOTONIC has a calming effect on plants, and is ideally suited for use when shipping or re-potting plants. RHIZOTONIC will also improve plants that are unhealthy or poorly developed.
RHIZOTONIC can be used regardless of the type of medium. It is suitable for cultivation in potting soil and hydro culture. RHIZOTONIC is often sprayed on leaves and can be used as a simple means for raising the pH level in fertilizer tanks.
Root stimulant

RHIZOTONIC adds more than 60 microbiological substances that considerably speeds up the growth of a balanced root environment. Various trace elements and vitamins such as B1&B2 have been added to RHIZOTONIC in to stimulate the plant production of hormones and root growth, thus providing better and stronger roots.
Vital plants

Good results start with a healthy plant. There are many different ways of stimulating plants aside from a healthy balance of EC levels, acidity, temperature, air and light. RHIZOTONIC does so during and in the rooting and growing phase. Another important element in RHIZOTONIC is the root-strengthening hormone Oligosaccharide. Scientifi c research has shown its benefi cial effect in the creation of root cells without any negative side effects. Your plants will be certain to get beautiful, strong white roots with RHIZOTONIC.
Benefits of CANNA Rhizotonic:

• Aids in the immediate generation of lush, new root growth on cuttings and transplants.
• When used as a seed soak prior to planting, it will speed up the germination process.
• Enhances overall plant growth and chemical reactions in the plant to ensure a healthier, powerful and stronger plant.
• Aids in the recovery process of any plant or cutting that has been subjected to stress in any way whatsoever.

PK 13/14

PK 13/14

INCREASES YIELDS

CANNA PK 13/14 is a mixture of top quality nutritional minerals that stimulate flowering. This product has been developed for the flowering phase of fast growing plants. PK 13/14 is easy to use and high yields are easily achieved.
PURE ELEMENTS TO STIMULATE FLOWERING

PK 13/14 is a high grade mixture of phosphorus and potassium that is added during the flowering phase. Both elements play a big role during the flowering phase of fast growing plants. Thanks to a special production process CANNA has succeeded in combining pure phosphorous and potassium in very high concentrations and this makes PK 13/14 available to the plant quickly and directly.
Phosphorous (P) is a major nutritional element for every plant. It plays a key role in metabolism and energy transfer. Extra phosphorous is needed in the flowering phase. Phosphorous strengthens cell formation in flowers among other things.
Potassium (K) is found throughout the plant and is necessary for a lot of its activities. It is essential for transporting water and nutrition (sieve vessels) and it is responsible for the plant’s quality and rigidity. In addition to this it controls countless other processes such as sugar production. Potassium ensures that the plant can produce enough sugars during flowering, which are essential for the development of the flowers.
LAVISH FLOWERING

There comes a moment during the plant’s development when the need for phosphorous and potassium increases greatly. If CANNA PK 13/14 is given at this moment you will satisfy the flowering plant’s increased needs and the fruits will achieve maximum development. CANNA BOOST enhances the metabolism and has a strengthening effect on PK 13/14. This perfect combination will cause the plant to fl ower more lavishly.
SUITABLE FOR EVERY MEDIUM

PK 13/14 is used with every medium and consequently it is used for cultivation on soil, in recirculatory systems, when cultivating on coco and in run-to-waste systems. PK 13/14 is suitable for use when cultivating both indoors and outdoors. When Canna began sales in North America, PK 13/14 used the standard European way of expressing percentages of the nutrients in fertilizer as volume/ volume (milliliters/ liter). It was after arriving on the shelf in NA that we had to change to the North American convention of using Mass/ mass (milligrams/ kilograms). So, to satisfy the regulatory powers, we are required to state the mass percentages of the contents of PK thus the additional numbers 0 - 10 - 11. Same fine product, just a different way of stating the percentages of the nutrients as 0 - 10 - 11 in mass percentages is exactly the same as 0 - 13 - 14 in volume percentages.

Cannazym

Cannazym

CANNAZYM is a high-quality enzyme product. It consists of more than 12 different kinds of enzymes to which vitamins and extracts of desert plants are added. CANNAZYM speeds up the process of breaking down dead root material and activates the micro-organisms. In addition to this, CANNAZYM facilitates the improved absorption of nutrients and increases the resistance against pathogenic organisms.
The threat

In a root system that functions well, roots die and new roots are formed. The remains of roots that died form an ideal growing substrate for pathogenic organisms. After the pathogenic moulds have multiplied in the dead root material, they are a threat to the healthy roots. These are easily affected, and will lose an important part of their function. This causes stress to the entire plant and stunts any new growth.
How does CANNAZYM work?

Enzymes are substances that speed up the reactions in living organisms. (Example: enzymes play a vital role in our digestion).
The enzymes in CANNAZYM facilitate fast conversion of dead roots into minerals and sugars. This is important, as they make up a valuable source of nutrients for the plant as well as for the soil environment. A fast breakdown of root remains creates a balanced air and soil hydrology in the root environment. Furthermore, putrefaction and consequently the formation of toxic substances are prevented and the risk of an infection by pathogenic moulds is considerably reduced. This is ideal for your plant. The soil environment is improved, as the minerals and sugars that are formed as a result of using CANNAZYM, are important for the bacteria located close to the roots. These bacteria provide the plant with extra protection against diseases that are caused by moulds and facilitate the exchange nutrients and vitamins with the roots. This results in improved balance and an increased absorption capacity.
Increased health

CANNAZYM contains several easy-to-absorb vitamins that stimulate the plant to form new roots. A well-developed root system uses of a lot of young growing-points. Elements like calcium, magnesium and iron are absorbed exactly by these growing-points. Furthermore, a substance that has been isolated from desert plants has been added to CANNAZYM, as a result of which the plant’s natural defence system will be improved. Activation of the defence system of the plant increases the protection against pathogenic organisms. A defence system that functions optimally allows the plant to react quickly against an imminent attack; eventual damage will be prevented or limited.
The above-mentioned information also explains why CANNAZYM is indispensable with the reuse of growing substrates; the root remains will be rapidly broken down and transformed into advantageous nutrients; infections will be prevented and the air/water relation in the root environment will be improved.

CANNABOOST

CANNABOOST

FULLER, HARDER FRUITS

CANNABOOST is CANNA’s powerful flowering stimulator. Specially developed for fast growing plants, it improves quality and increases yields. CANNABOOST stimulates the development of newly formed flowers which ultimately results in fuller fruits. This also leads to a more homogeneous harvest because the fruits mature evenly. Something very special about CANNABOOST is that it does not only assure excellent yields, but also better taste, a little something extra for the CANNA grower.
SUITABLE FOR EVERY SUBSTRATE

CANNABOOST is a universal flowering stimulant; this means it can be used in every cultivation system and in combination with every kind of feeding without exception. Originally designed for tank mixing with the nutrient solution, CANNBOOST can also be used as a foliar spray. The advantage of this is that the plant can absorb this flowering stimulant directly through the leaves.
COMBINES PERFECTLY WITH PK 13/14

CANNABOOST increases the plant’s photosynthesis. This increase assures that fruits form more quickly, so the availability of nutrients is very important for achieving optimum results with CANNABOOST. CANNA feeding guarantees the availability of all these nutrients, PK13/14 added to the CANNA feeding provide even better results. This is because PK 13/14 provides the plant with extra flowering elements while CANNABOOST assures the plant has the energy to utilize these elements.
BETTER MATURING AND PROTECTION

CANNABOOST contains flowering compounds that assure the plant matures to its full potential. It also holds natural flowering regulators that better distribute both stimulants in the booster itself, as well as flowering substances and energy naturally available in the plant. This enables the fruits to develop more uniformly and to mature to their full potential. Thanks to the improved energy regulation, the plant also has sufficient energy available to resist pathogens. If energy is lacking when and where it is needed, then disease will often strike usually when it will be most disastrous for the harvest.
BETTER, STRONGER TASTE

A successful and good harvest is not only judged on quantities nowadays. Quality is starting to play an even more important role and taste is one of the indicators for it. CANNABOOST does not just assure higher yields, but also excellent flavor. It encourages the photosynthesis process within the plant, which increases sugar production in the fruits. This gives a much sweeter taste and enhances the concentration of natural flavors being produced by the plant itself.

Coco

CANNA Coco was the first nutrient product that was suitable for use when growing on coco and it still hasn’t been equalled after all these years.
CANNA Coco gives unrivalled results on CANNA’s coco substrate. This substrate combines the tolerant, organic nature of soil with the precision of rockwool. Due to the special characteristics of the substrate the nutrient doesn’t have a Vega and Flores variant, but there is one unique formulation for both growth and blooming phase. We can’t make things easier!
CANNA Coco is the only Coco substrate that has RHP certification which has not been sterilized and so retains its natural sponge-like qualities as well as the natural, beneficial fungi. This is the reason why CANNA Coco is so successful as far as root development, growth and re-use are concerned.

About Coco

About Coco

High yields

CANNA Coco was the first cultivation system that was specially developed for cultivating on coco and has now grown to become the most popular system for both professionals and hobbyists. Packed with microbiological elements

CANNA Coco is the only unsteamed RHP certified coco substrate. Because of this, CANNA Coco contains a very high proportion of useful micro organisms, including Trichoderma, which combat root rot and other diseases. Trichoderma is also well-known for promoting root growth. Other RHP certified substrates are steam-treated, which kills this protective organism and disrupts the natural balance.
Ecologically safe

CANNA Coco substrate is an environ-mentally friendly product based on coconut fibres. No energy wasteful production methods are used during the production of this long-lasting, cultivation medium. Coconut fibres are obtained from the coconuts’ husks which are a natural product that can be harvested throughout the year.
Effortless cultivation

All the nutrient elements for the growing and flowering phase are present in CANNA Coco A&B. Due to the unique buffering capability of the CANNA Coco substrate, and its sponge-like structure, the nutrients needed to ensure high yields are stored in the coco. This means that the plant itself can regulate the amount and timing of its nutrient intake.
Tolerant

Coconut fibres have sufficient capillary action to retain enough water and nutrients. This means that the plant can go for longer periods with-out water, which could happen if a feeding pump was to break down for example.

Coco A & B

After years of research into soil, drainage and leaf analyses, CANNA has succeeded in being the first to develop a fertilizer that is specifically tailored to the characteristics of cocos substrates. CANNA Coco A&B is composed of high value minerals and, in addition to this, CANNA Coco contains humous and fulvic acids which give the plant optimum nutrient absorption.
Growers throughout the world have been enthusiastic for years about CANNA Coco’s explosive growth and profuse fl owering. Thanks to the Coco medium’s unique buffering qualities CANNA Coco A&B is used for both the growth and flowering phases.
Coco is a complete professional nutrient for plants containing all the essential elements for optimal growing and flowering. Aqua

Aqua

CANNA Aqua is the nutrient that has been specifically developed for the use in combination closed hydroponic systems, like NFT or Bubbler systems. With these systems the drainage water isn’t removed but is reused.
In this sort of system the plants are in direct contact with the nutrient solution. Because the plants do not absorb all the nutritional elements with equal speed or in equal amounts, the composition of the nutrient solution changes over time.
CANNA Aqua has been developed in such a way as to ensure that the plants can always absorb the correct combination of nutritional elements that are necessary for optimum growth and bloom. The formula is made up so the plants regulate the pH themselves so that the pH in the nutrient tank always remains within the optimum pH range. This means that having once set the correct starting pH no further correction is necessary.
In this way CANNA makes one of the most complex cultivation systems considerably easier for the grower. There's a reason the majority of growers in the UK, a country where this cultivation method is extremely popular, use CANNA Aqua.

About Aqua

About Aqua

HIGH YIELDS

CANNA Aqua is the nutrition for hydro-culture systems where the nutrient solution is re-used (recycled). No soil or other substrate is necessary for this cultivation method; the Aqua nutrients are fed directly to the plant’s roots. Due to a meticulous control of the supply of nutrients during the growth and blooming phase of fast growing plants, CANNA ensures a mind blow-ing yield with CANNA Aqua.It is no sur-prise that in Great Britain, where most growers work with these systems, the majority of the hydroculture growers choose CANNA Aqua.
USER-FRIENDLY

Due to the fact that the plant does not absorb all nutrients in equal amounts and speed, the composition and acid level of the nutrient solution changes throughout the course of time. CANNA Aqua is composed in such a way that the plant is always able to absorb a suffi cient amount of the correct nutrient elements and arrange the pH itself. Like this, the pH always remains within the optimum boundaries. The pH fl uctuates within the optimum values of 5.2 and 6.2 (N.B. when the roots strike, this value can be exceed-ed for a moment) and does not need to be adjusted. The graph shows the natural pH development (without adjustments). This makes CANNA Aqua unique compared to all other existing nutrition formulas. Like this, CANNA Aqua simplifies one of the most complex cultivation systems for growers.
PRECISION CULTIVATION

Hydro growers want to fully control the development of their plants. This is pos-sible because they are able to determine precisely what the plant absorbs. Due to the lack of a substrate, when measuring the nutrient solution a clear image emerges of the nutrition that is available for the plant. A substrate has a buffering capability, which means that sometimes nutrients become available at a later time. In order to provide the plant, in the best way pos-sible, with the correct elements during the various phases of its development, CANNA developed Aqua Vega and Aqua Flores.
TESTED THROUGH AND THROUGH

CANNA Aqua was only introduced in 1999 due to CANNA’s strict quality requirements. After years of testing and fi ne-tuning, and an unprecedent-ed high number of cultivation tests in the CANNA RESEARCHlaboratories, the correct formula was found. In addition, collaboration took place with a select group of growers on even a greater level than before. This unique combination of laboratory and fi eld tests resulted in an enormous amount of information. The result is that CANNA Aqua distinguishes itself in versatility, stability, yield and ease of use.
CULTIVATION SYSTEM OF THE FUTURE

A hydroculture cultivation system may not be lacking in the house of the future. Hydroculture systems can be applied on both a small and large scale and the direct adjustment pos-sibilities make higher yields feasible with the correct nutrition. With the advent of ever more refi ned measure-ment equipment and technological improvements the future of hydroculture systems seems to be positive. These type of systems will provide astronauts with fresh food during Mars expeditions.

Aqua Vega

Aqua Vega is a professional fast working nutrient for plants containing all the essential elements for optimal growing. Aqua Vega is easy to use, directly dissolves and is extremely suitable for growing with recirculating hydroponic systems. Aqua Vega ensures a strong plant with large vital shoots. Aqua Vega nutrition also contains pH-stabilisers, silicon, humic and fulvic acids.
Aqua Vega is developed especially to fulfil the plant’s needs optimally during its growth. Aqua Vega is used on recirculation systems, such as NFT, ebb and flow systems and the cultivation on clay particles.
Directly absorbable nitrogen compounds and trace elements guarantee an ideal start for the bloom.

Aqua Flores

Aqua Flores is a complete professional nutrient for fast growing plants containing all the essential elements for optimal flowering. Aqua Floresstimulates the fruit formation and provides every plant with its characteristic flavour. Aqua Flores is easy to use, directly dissolves and is extremely suitable for growing with re-circulating hydroponic systems. Aqua Flores nutrition also contains pH-stabilisers, silicon, humic and fulvic acids.
Aqua Flores fulfils the plant’s changing needs now that blooming has begun. During the blooming phase considerably less nitrogen is needed, but there is an increased need for potassium and phosphor.
Aqua Flores is not only rich in these compounds, such as silicic acids, humus acids and fulvic acids, which results in the plant being able to optimally absorb all nutrients, but also in directly absorbable trace elements, which results in an exuberant bloom.

CANNA Substra is the nutrient for systems in which the drainage water is not returned to the nutrient tank but drains away (Run-to-Waste / Open hydroponic systems): the most popular cultivation method in the Netherlands and CANNA Substra is the nutrient that is most used for this system.
CANNA Substra has a balanced quantity of all nutritional elements needed by plants. As the substrates used in run-to-waste systems are mostly inert (They don’t add or take nutrient elements from the nutrient solution) all the nutrients have to be in the nutrient solution. An excess of nutritional elements can lead to plant damage but they will also end up in the environment.
To prevent this from happening the nutrient should be specifically designed for such a system and preferably for your type of tap water. That’s why CANNA developed a Hard and Soft water version of the Substra nutrient line. This ensures the exact amount of nutrients will be delivered to the plants root system and as little as possible nutrients will end up in the drain water; healthy for the consumer and great for the environment.
CANNA Substra is one of the cornerstones that have helped CANNA to become world market leader.

About Substra

TESTED FOR YEARS

With CANNA SUBSTRA nutrition for fast growing plants, CANNA became a pioneer in the cultivation on substrates. With substrate cultivation, the soil is replaced by an inert growth medium. Inert growth mediums, such as rock wool, do not contain any nutrients. SUBSTRA is the best nutrition for growing on inert substrates. CANNA SUBSTRA is used especially on ‘run-to-waste’ systems; these are systems where the drain water is drained off.
CANNA SUBSTRA has been the most used nutrient in the Netherlands for years.
PRECISION CULTIVATION

With CANNA SUBSTRA growers have an optimum control over what their plants are offered. It does require more know-how than growing on soil for example, but higher yields can be achieved due to the fact that the nutrition absorption can be better arranged. Like this, immediate adjustments can also be made when something threatens to go wrong.
It is also important that there are no damaging ballast substances in the offered nutrition because this will have an immediate negative influence on the plant’s development. Of course, CANNA SUBSTRA is free from these substances.
HARD AND SOFT WATER

In order to make the nutrient supply as accurate and complete as possible, a distinction must be made based on the water quality. Among other things, the water quality has an effect on the availability and the supply of nutrients. For example, there are more nutrients dissolved in hard water compared to soft water (e.g. magnesium and calcium) and more acid is needed to set the pH. This in turn influences the availability of the other nutrient elements. The logical result of this is that, due to the difference in water composition, a hard as well as a soft water version of CANNA SUBSTRA is available.
RUN-TO-WASTE

Growing on inert mediums is still the most widely used growing method in the Dutch horticultural sector. With run-to-waste systems, the nutrient solution runs once past the roots and is then drained off. This means that the nutrient solution must have the correct composition.

Substra Vega

In the beginning of the growth phase, the plant lays the foundation for its eventual yield. Characteristics of a healthy and powerful growth are vital side shoots and a luxuriant root development.
SUBSTRA Vega is developed especially to fulfil the plant’s needs optimally during this phase. SUBSTRAVega is applied to all types of inert mediums.
A complete absorption of nutrients and water is guaranteed from the beginning of the cultivation because SUBSTRA Vega is rich in directly absorbable nitrogen compounds and trace elements.

Substra Flores

A direct availability and a correct composition of nutrients play a crucial role during the plant’s blooming phase. SUBSTRA Flores stimulates the fructification and contains all the nutrients that the plant needs during this phase.
During the blooming phase considerable less nitrogen is needed for example, but an increased need for potassium and phosphorous occurs. In addition, SUBSTRA Flores’ unique formula is rich in trace elements in a directly absorbable form. This results in an exuberant bloom.

I have a question about the Canna schedule. I am about to head into my last 2 weeks of flowering and was wondering why Canna still suggest adding nutrient to the tank? Also can i use Cannazym with water for the final flush or will this still leave a chemical taste? Here it what i am using -
Canna Aqua (flower), Cannazym, Rhysitonic
30 liter tank
Water E.C 1.0
Thanks for any help.

because the plant still needs nutrients for the last two weeks... if you were in soil than i could see cutting the nutes off for the last 2 weeks, but youre in hydro...

i would flush for 2-7 days... you dont need any cannazym but it is ok and safe to use up until the day of harvest if you wanted to use it for some reason, but i wouldnt waste the cannazym unless you were in coco with plans of reusing it.

Im in!

firstly getting 150 litres of coco sent to work is a big no no suspect as hell....

secondly coco wins over soil hands down!
