Never have thought of doing it myself. I would be the one to waste a lot of meat and eating a lot of fucking stew instead of steaks.
In short I would be a hack man.

Yeah, i hear you man. It's a hard trade to get into without actually jumping right in. time to time i still learn a new niche' here and there for other old timers with more time than me.

can't wait for deer season though lol...

Ever make your own jerky? @londonfog
yes bottom round is what I use. I use a dehydrator as well.
My jerky marinade recipe for 2 pounds of meat. I let meat strips sit in for at least 8 hours.
  • 2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
better than any shit you can buy in the store

Naw I was just somewhat high.
I have never tried to smoke a whole one. Does sound like it would be tasty. Does the smoking take as long as a brisket ?
should be the same as a brisket weight wise for a smaller flat brisket, not the point.
a whole coulotte is only 1.5-2 lbs at most. bout as thick as a brisket but tapered on the ends.

one grain like a brisket and unlike a tri tip.

ask for one next time at the store dude theyre still hella cheep 7 bucks at most not on sale. throw it in the grill like a big steak just to try it out real quick and cut it across the grain to serve.

I have tried it grilled like steaked cut, but never smoked one. Should be delicious

Hell yeah man, good recipe right there. Store bought is garbage. Processed shit.
Bottom rounds make good jerky no doubt.
If you have the $ for it, ever tried using flank? It goes for around 9-12$/lb though.

Joy Reid is reporting 200,000 voters purged from rolls in Wisconsin, hmm. Hint: When the one percenters keep winning by one percent, it's rigged!

I'll be disappointed with an America that elects Mrs Clinton. Her gender isn't history. Her policies are out of step with the mood and the needs of the country. It will reflect the ascendency of corporate interests over democracy. The fact that she's a Democrat means very little in terms of the overall political picture facing average Americans today.
Really

Has it occurred to you that perhaps the developed world IS by and large right wing and authoritarian?

They did it by voting record and their own policy positions. What people don't realize about Mrs Clinton is that she's just as conservative as any of the republicans, she's just hiding in the other party.

I'm not fooled and no one else should be, either.
Moar!
