Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine

http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=fRdLpem-AAs#t=191
Reagan was an actor, a real life actor. He acted out his role as president just like his handlers wanted him to. The people against socialized medicine are whom?? Maybe big pharma, HMOs, Insurance companies, Big medical groups, hospitals, and any organized medical corporation. I'd put money on the fact they wrote his speeches. Reagan was a douche, a corporate douchebag to the nines.

Reagan also thought it was ok for the govt to steal someones property over a joint of weed, which he signed into law, and mandatory minimums for drug users, which he also signed into law. His trickle down theory was ass backwards and he had nothing to do with the Berlin Wall which he and other repugs take credit for. He set the country back 20 years just as every republican president has done.
so if 18 presidents were republican and each set us back 20 years, we should be living like it was 1650. Awesome.

I like men who work with trees. And with their hands. And with gas powered tools, especially. :blsmoke:

Geeze, you and I should be best buddies. I always worked with my hands, back, doing all sorts of physical work. I was a linesman for So.Cal Edison for 9 years, a carpenter for 15 years, a mechanic for 20 years and a truck driver for 8 years. In between I ran a couple of small businesses, but still had to work them, physically. Never had a suit type job, thank God. I loved being outdoors. I never got rich, but always made a decent living (Union), had medical and benefits etc. I am the epitome of a working class hero.
