Came home from work today clutching my package with a t shirt and 5 seeds inside. That is very fast delivery, very impressed.
I had already put soil in my pots in anticipation, and my sour livers were going into jars after a fortnight drying in my cabinet today anyway, so i now have 2x 3 bears seeds in soil and germing already! I have gone from being one of the last to grow last time to one of the first this time. I couldn't have timed it any better!

Rip pack of seeds open like a giddy kid...........drop seed directly into slightly moist soil in pot, no messing with soaking or paper towels.........keep pot warm and wait 72 hours...........game on!!
One seed fully broke surface and reaching for light, and the other is a couple of hours behind, having just broke the surface. I had literally just lightly sprayed the soil a couple of times as the surface was dry when I took the pics, I don't keep them that wet.
*edit when I zoomed in to the top pic it looks more like the tap root had come upwards, broke the surface before going downward. I have since put a bit more soil over it and will leave well alone. 3 bears OG seed 1.JPG 3 Bears OG seed 2.JPG

Thanks buddy, I’ll give them a shot.
No problem. I figured since it can up I conversation free was the best way to try them out.

Mephisto is the best auto breeder I found.

That pic of the livers I showed you, it was made from the old blue strain that cheese and some others came from.

I crossed a regular male to them. They came out great. Photoperiod though. I sprouted some of them. Gave them to a buddy. Ill see if he will let me take some pics. They are really blue. The sun hits them and they change color. From like a blue to a slight purple. Beatiful plants. Smell like fruit loops and cheese.

I saw a thread a few days ago that someone was asking about crossing an auto with a photoperiod male(?) and if the seeds would be photo or auto and if they would be REG of FEM. You mentioned your seeds came out photo. Would your beans be 50/50 shot of being ruderalis AND photo, or just one or the other?

Its complicated.

I crossed a reg male to fem auto. We can rule fem out. It takes two fems to make fem seeds.

It will vary by strain. Each one has been worked different.

It can be anywhere from 0-50% that keep the auto trait. Out of the seeds I made I popped about 20. All where photoperiod. I think like 6 males out of the bunch.

If I keep popping them I'm sure I would find one that autoflowered. If i found a male and female that auto flowered I would cross them and keep the pollen from the male. I would then select future generation females that Auto flowered to back cross to the male.

It is hard to breed stable autos. It has taken years to go from the shitty autos to the good ones.

I am sure there are tricks to breeding autos. I just haven't figured them out yet. Lol.

I will breed photos to autos in the future if I think they re worth keeping. I label anything I cross with an auto. I like autos but I also like photos.

I am very pleased how the cross to the livers turned out.

That's about as specific as I can be. Its sort of a toss up.

IMG_20171020_184314828.jpg I got my package today! Thanks @Jack Vault you guys rock. The timing could not have been better as I am harvesting tomorrow morning. I will pop a couple of the 3 Bears OG in the auto tent tomorrow. I will also be growing some ultra lemon haze autos and some blue cheese autos from Barney's farm as well as a couple freebie seeds I have laying around. Anyway I think we're set for another great comparative. Good luck everyone!
