like I posted earlier, they were closed as a security measure because of the trucks going walkabouts.

Obama did just announce in a televised speech that no more detainees from Gitmo would be going to Yemen due to ongoing security concerns. Very interesting, very interesting indeed. :leaf:

So I have a question.

Why are people afraid of these prisoners going to american prisons?. I mean if we can hold Charles Manson and the uni bomber, why not them?

UKIP actually (google it). We are just not a sparanoid as you lot across the pond. You forget that we were bombed throughout the 70'2 80' 90' 00's buy the differing Irish factions. There is fuck all you can do about it, something that Americans cat stand!
One thing to think of woos, is that this is really new to us. We have been so seperated over here on our island with Canada and Mexico that we have become soft to what the rest of the world has to deal with. 9/11 scared a lot of people and the only context we had was really the oklahoma city bombing, but that was by some of our own militia crazies.

Think about how crazy people went back in the 70's when the bombings from the IRA happened.

But even that might not be comparable, because you guys have went through a lot over there, being blown to shit in WW2 probably hardened the older generations to what was happening in the 70's.

Basically it freaked the shit out of a bunch of people here.

I think a lot of people are worried about the terrorists having another reason to hit us. Perhaps attempted prison breaks would be much easier here in the u.s. than on gitmo. It's also a political game being played here. We were told that these folks down in gitmo were enemy combatants or prisoners of war. If that's the case why should they be in u.s. prisons? Anyone wonder why a lot of these guys are being sent to Illinois? You also made mention of how this has affected Americans. You are correct in your assumption that the American people have never experienced anything like this on our own soil. 9/11 was the most successful attack ever on u.s. soil. Even more people died than died in Pearl Harbor. People are scared of what's coming next and rightfully so. I personally don't want to share the same soil or breathe the same air as these monsters. And what's wrong with gitmo? It is a brand new, state of the art facility. Those prisoners are being treated as good or better than they will be treated when they get here. Politics my friend, politics.;-)

basically its playing out like another false flag, except this one failed...

anyone a false flag as a pretext to invade yemen

watch
Yeah like some said the false flag during bush's admin was the distruction of the twin tower to drum up support from the population,
Whether this is true or not. We don't need any damn false flag, tell us straight up whats going on. Or get the hell out of office.
Course that will never happen, so I just pray for the best.

We released them on purpose. We cause the problem, then we act like heroes when we go in and attack the country we released these guys to. We're just fighting terror right? Who lets terrorists go, then shoots cruise missiles into their country and wonders why those same guys attack us afterward?

Look at all the lapses in security lately. It's just too perfect and all the fingers magically point back to Yemen.

Their plan is so transparent it's hilarious.

"Hey, what country are we attacking next?"

"Syria"

"Well hell, we better release some Gitmo detainee's into Syria then!"

Months later....

News Headline: "Terrorist compound believed to be in Syria"
