Hey there, I'm 5 days into flower now on my first grow and decided with the huge amount of pictures I've take I should share my grow. I've lurked off and on for a long time but finally decided to start up a grow a couple months ago. I appreciate any and all feedback - it's my first grow and while I have done my homework there are still a million things I don't know. Here's the info on my grow.
Grow Room: A 5x5 grow tent (SunHut Big Easy, a cheapy but I got a killer deal on it) inside a wooden storage shed that I insulated, it's a tight fit so I had to cut about 6 inches off the tent poles to fit it.
Lights: Two 315 CMH Phantom Hoods, running Phillips 3100k bulbs (ran veg with t5s for a few weeks and then right to the 3100k cmh bulbs for another few weeks of veg).
Intake/Exhaust: running a 6" iPower exhaust fan and Carbon filter combo, this pulls in free air from several intake holes in the shed.
Temperature: I'm using an Inkbird digital controller (this thing is a godsend). I have a small personal heater and a 5000btu window ac unit (in the shed window) plugged into it. We've had a few 90 degree days and it's been able to keep it around 76 with no issue.
Strains: Against a few peoples advice I'm doing a multi-strain grow. 3 strains - Mr Nice's Black Widow (ww is my favorite strain from when I was younger, trying to grow some like I had then, so I'm starting with the original), Ocean Grown Seeds ObiWan OG, and a strain called Fire Lemons (Fire Alien Kush x Granddaddy Haze) that I picked up off an auction on IG.
Dirt: started everything in Happy Frog, transplanted into some Sanctuary Soil Empire Builder before flower. Will probably be using Sanctuary Soils from the start next time.
Nutrients: Earth Juice Grow, Bloom, Catalyst, MetaK, and Micro. I also use CALiMAGic, Silica, and Vitamin B-1.
Foliar: I foliared with kelp every so often in veg, maybe once a week or so, they seemed to like it.
IPM: I have a lot of bugs in my back yard, so I decided to put a solid IPM system into place right away. I rotate through Neem, Azamax, Captain Jacks, Green Cure, and SM-90. I have also been spraying the surrounding plants with the same IPM.
Me: I'm in my 30s, I like Metal and Rap music, I play video games, I have a small woodworking shop in my garage (just a hobby), I so some leatherworking, I like camping, smoking dank, and am loving growing so far.
I'll upload pics in chronological order until current, I'll try to get them done today but I'm doing this on my phone at work so bare with me.
