Thirsty girl. Is this normal?

I have this unknown strain in a 50l pot. It's very healthy and seems to be doing well but I am having to water till runoff every day at the moment. I'll give her a good drenching until water starts to run out the bottom of pot but by the mid afternoon the next day she starts to droop a bit and the pot is easily lifted with one hand so I will rewater. Is it normal for a plant this size to drink so much? Will it need daily watering till harvest or will it need less during flower? I estimate it's taking at least 20 litres a day. I wish it would hurry up and flower. I want some smoke dammit. Dry as anything round here at the moment and even outdoor is going for $400 oz or more if you can even find it.

Not enough information.
Temps? Pot size? How much drainage-a hole in the pot to drain lots of holes big holes little holes etc. I live where it's 100 plus during the summer every day and eight foot plants will down 3-5 gals of water a day.

You probably can't see the pic due to the current site difficulties. As I said its in a 50 litre pot. We measure temps in celsius down here. It's summer and temps have been between 22-30 so not too hot. Last few days have been a bit cooler so she hasn't been drinking as much. I'm in week one of flower now and the budsites are getting nice and hairy. Absolutely zero smell so far which is good. Do they need as much water in flower as in veg or do they change their drinking habits in old age?

How long has the plant been in this pot? My guess would be that the pot is too small, if she's been in there full season.

I had some plants in 3 gallon pots that were late starts from seed, and even having started them a month before flowering time, they had still filled the pots with roots.

They drink more in flower. Water consumption doesn't taper off till about a week from harvest. You could take a large plastic container and put a pin sized hole in it and set it on top of your pot. That'll alleviate your watering pains, but they'll still need lots of water ...

You could try mulch. Maybe the plant isnt drinking that much, but the water is evaporating out of the pot due to sun exposure.

Hope that helps
