Thoughts on my girls?

I have 2 Forbidden Jelly and 1 Slurricane at day 58 of flower. FF soil and trio nutes. Typically watered every 2 days, switching between water and water w/nutes. PH varied between 6-7. Other than a couple of times run off water was between 5.75-7. I see a lot of cloudy trichomes and wanted to see what you all thought. It seems like maybe I should let them go longer, but I’m not sure. 1 of the plants seems to be foxtailing and starting to get some nanners. Any thoughts and feedback appreciated!

These look really nice to me. Glad to see you aren't starving them by "flushing". But you've got a ways to go still if you want to reach maturity. Aim for 70 ish days probably...maybe a bit longer. Very nice work thus far.
Foxtailing is mostly genetic but can sometimes be introduced with just too much light. If you are running aggressive lighting, I've found that dropping the intensity a bit in the 8th week of flower can help but like I said, it's mostly genetic.

Constantly checking trich's can become a fools game. Different parts of the plant will start to show varying doneness. Learn to look at the plant as a whole to determine doneness. Things like:
Has water consumption significantly dropped
Have the fan leaves completely transitioned into the wonderful fall colors
Have the calyxes completely swelled

Then you can start checking trichs....or just harvest anytime you want from then until 7 to 10 days after that. At that point it's mostly about preference.

Yes just try to learn as much as you can and what he just said is all factors not just trichomes especially any on leaves. Better to cut a small piece of bud when your thinking of chopping then look at trichomes but with other tells also. Good looking though little longer. :weed:

Definitely helps, will let them go and continue to monitor. Will look more at the plant as a whole and not loose the forest for the trees. Thanks!

Looking nice ..good spaceage between the buds
Always look at the bottom of the big buds your concentrating on hoping they are nice and dense
I would always normally pull the bottoms buds away from the stem cause they would like stick to it like getting airflow in there

Thanks, I mainlined the plants and used tomato cage ring to LST after topping. Seemed to work really well. I thought about pulling bottom branches away for air flow, but didn’t for whatever reason. Will do that moving forward

Your rh is good. With a compost tea and good air circulation you can fight 65%rh too . Be careful with your banana girl though! She could polinate your other girl .

Those are some happy plants.. I had the same thing with mine when I started using LEDs, the plants just kept on stacking new growth on and wouldn’t mature properly.. now I back the lights and temp off in the last couple of weeks and that seems to help with final maturation. Some strains were more prone to it also.. your going to have some great looking buds there tho! Nice work!

Thanks! Lots of learning and time to get here. Makes sense about the lights…mimick fall - less sun, but also less intensity. Read somewhere that flowering is 100% light. Already turned intensity down, and maybe explains some of my leaf damage??

Question I do have though, if the buds I’m seeing are what I want trichome wise, but the plants not done overall and keeps stacking and fattening up. What happens to those ripe trichs? They get buried in a sea of new growth and deteriorate or become over ripe if that makes sense?
