I originally started with 12 plant only one was female. I have one room my plant is ready for budding but I have my newly started clones in the same room. How can I pull this off with one room? Should I just remove the flowering plant from the room for 12 hours everyday?

Very few people can pull this off. Plus I doubt that you can be there exactly on time to provide the mother with 12 hours of total light and total darkness. Do you know what a flowering plant requires?

Do the times need to be on the minute precice? As in, i shut off the lights at 12:30Am and turn em on at exactly 12:30 pm and not a minute later. Or is there room for a bit of error, say ur off by like 5 to 10 minutes?

This is my first grow but there growing under a 600W hps electolux bulb the plant I was going to flower is a little over 5 feet tall I have been growing it since december 3rd. The other 11 plants where male from bag seeds. This one was a rare seed in my buddies really good nug I got lucky and it was female. I started sexing roughly 3 weeks ago after 1 week I new it was female and killed all the other plants went back to 18hrs of light. I wanted this to be a mother plant but I just dont have the room. So I cut 6 clones and started rooting them. I dont want to bud this plant until I know the clones are good but when I do I still want the clones to live. As far as knowing what a flowering plant requires I read todd mcormicks book medical marijuanna and I have frequented a lot of your posts for info. I'm using all fox farm products oacen forest soil, grow big for veg, and was planning on big bloom for flowering. Do you have any suggestions on a cheap temp light for the 4-6 weeks of flowering?

I'd say nobody has answered because we don't know what you want. You have one 5 foot tall plant, still in veg. I would say that's a problem. When you flower her, she will at least double in height, let's see, 5 times 2, oh I don't know, say about 11 feet tall. For me, that would be a problem.

Since you want to flower her with the other small plants, why not bend her way down, so secondary branches will grow up.

I totally disagree the plant is not going to double in size. maybe another 10 inches but thats it I started to bud it today and in 4 weeks its not going to be 11 feet tall.

You should bud your plant for longer than 4 weeks, and you might want to prepare for an eleven foot plant, as most all mary janes double in size once you swtch to 12/12. You said your plant was 5 feet tall vegged, sounds like a sativa dominate plant, which can easy grow well above eleven feet. Sorry Hank you really might want to tie that thing down.
