ok yall i need you're help.. Im growing indoors and 2 months ago i planted my seedling in medium with kind soil and little white bugs started to show up on the surface of the soil. I tossed the plant out because i panicked and didnt know what to do. Now 2 months later I'm looking at the kind soil with a magnifying glass and the little white bugs are still alive in it! Its hard for me to get a good picture of them because they're so tiny but i can tell you that they are pin sized white bugs that have antennas and they move around very quickly. I know some mites are beneficial but I'm not experienced with them so I cant tell what they are. Any advice on how to identify them and what I should do?

Do they jump? Are they springtails? Do they come out when you water?

They don't jump, they just crawl in and around the top of the soil. I'm not really sure if they come out when you water, i was just looking at the kind soil by itself today and noticed them still crawling around. I'm just surprised that they're still alive after two months but they haven't changed in size. They dont really look like springtails but they kinda look like bugs in these pics.mite.jpg mite2.jpg
