Do you think baking the soil would help rid of them little bastards. I struggled so much getting those seeds to germ and now this happens to my only 2 germd seeds out of 8

I have them at the bottom of my pots cause i think there runnig right through my soil, when i water. But no fungus knats flying around. How can i get rid of these litte white maggets? Will hydroguard work? They are feeding on my roots, and stunting my 35 day flowering ladies. Never had them before.

Diatomaceous earth on top of your soil will help, also sticky traps, and not over watering is the easiest thing to do.
